Currently looking into expatting and this is something that would take a major adjustment period for me. I have four Michaels in decent driving distance and a Joann nearby (3 more 45 mins away) and love being able to pop over to another store if one doesn’t have something

Our Joanns moved stuff around too! Bernat Blanket and Bernat Baby were one row over from each other. Now the Baby is three rows over in the middle of just stuff. Not other yarn. Freaked me out when I couldn't find it! 😂

I completely agree that JoAnn's is so much better than Michael's, at least where I am. My JoAnn's moved all the yarn too. They shouldn't confuse us like that 😂. I want to thank you for only buying yarn that you needed, even if you wanted it. It's nice to see someone with self control instead of all the videos of people acting like it's totally OK to buy all the yarn they want just because no matter the cost 😊. Thank you!

My Michael's used to be good for yarn years ago but they cut the section to nothing. I can never find Bernat there these days. Joann's is so much better! I love the Pipsqueak yarn. ❤️ I have made the softest, prettiest baby blankets with it and they always are the first to be grabbed up. Awesome yarn shopping trip! I am much weaker than you and would have bought a cart full lol.

I totally relate to Michael’s vs Joann’s. Michael’s is usually disappointing because they don’t have a good yarn selection and their sales are not that good. My daughter Kamryn and I have been watching your videos as we prep for our first market next week. She is 10 and has been crocheting for 3 years. Watching this video, I totally recognize your Joann’s! 😂We live in the state next door but I make the hour drive occasionally to go to hobby lobby nearby.

What is the difference between bernat velvet and bernat baby velvet? I have been making headbands with the baby velvet but the next one I want to make I have just bernat velvet not the baby velvet. Now to go get your headband pattern to try a different pattern also!

I would not be a bit surprised if Michaels doesn’t go through a bankruptcy restructuring like Joann’s a couple of years ago. Their models are a little different. Joann’s pushes sales in the store which I think limits them because there are a lot of crafters in areas that a Joann’s isn’t close. Michaels has a poor store experience (as far as yarn goes, I never look at anything else). They have a much better online presence. When you order from them, most, if not all of your order comes in 1 box Versus Joann’s onesie, twosies. And I have seen so much yarn listed on Michaels from 3rd party sellers for outrageous prices. Why does it have to be so hard!!!!! 😅

I really don’t mean to be negative and I don’t mean it in that way at ALL, I just wanted to share my opinion. All the editing is kind of annoying and distracting. And makes the video feel a little more…mainstream I guess?? I kind of miss the chill videos where you just hung out, and weren’t just always advertising your brand.
