Glad Adam pressed the Mandela effect guy a little.. it’s just memory fog and associative liberty. It’s not shocking that people always say “LUKE I am your father” to give the added context to the actual quote. Also after the fight Vader is in his head saying “LUKE” so it gets mashed together in the memory banks. “Trespasses” vs “Debts” are simply 2 separate translations of the Lord’s Prayer. I remember hearing “trespasses” first and then “debts” at a different church 😋 There was no Genie movie starring Sinbad (though he may have dressed the part for a commercial or something) It was always Kazaam starring Shaq 😐 People have bad memories. Robert Kiviat's point is relatively valid, but there's a psychological phenomenon that explains what he's referencing that creates a false memory. Some of it has to do with our minds auto-correcting statements to fit what we think should have been said: e.g. Luke, I am your father. It would have been more poignant and effective to address Luke with his name and make the statement, but in the context of the scene, he is already talking to Luke, so the line "No, I am your father" was the real line. To remove it from the context, one replaces "No" with "Luke". The Sex And the City being Sex in the City is simply an affect of people hearing it incorrectly and both make sense, so there's no reason to look into it, especially if you're not a fan. It's a simple mistake easily overlooked in conversation. The brain will interchange "and" and "in" depending on what it assumes is correct. This effect is also prevalent in the Star Trek community where people say, "Damn it, Jim, I'm a doctor not a..." or "He's dead, Jim." McCoy simply said, "I'm a doctor, not a brick layer" in an early episode, and the other line misquoted as well. That said, the misquotes are fun, and so ingrained in the vernacular that they were referenced in the later movies. An alternate universe? Nah, just mental tricks our minds play on ourselves.

It's more like a distributed data base where nodes can disagree and both be true at the same time. Our reality is constantly updated backdated and altered. Most changes are un noticed. The download of changes happens as we sleep. Updates are not even though and some people don't get them and run on old software. Until they get the update they will have old information at their database they draw from. Adam you are correct. Any form of Twist Drill (6" Auger or 1/4" drill) has spiral flutes to evacuate the material being drilled. They create an empty hole. They don't "dig themselves in".
