I love this cause it's sort of like he gets to do 1 man improv by reacting to the idiots in the crowd, and seeing how funny he can make it rather than just try to fall back on the pre written material and he's awesome at it. I was an emergency room EMT for a number of years and dealt with lots of drunks and the problem with dealing with them from a stage is that they feel like it’s kind of part of the show, like mutual fun, I know that I put on a straight face and tell them to “stop making this whole thing about them” and then when they get it I make a face saving comment. Comedians tend to mix the face saving on the front end which confuses the heightened narcissism in the inebriate
