I think these are my favorite videos for cedh I watch. I think these are great to see the metagame across the country and online as well as getting an idea of what a typical cedh game may look like in the presence of certain decks. Really enjoying the content coming out right now. Keep it up 😀

Hey I was the one playing Kambal, yeah iirc if you hit any way to make red mana on your naus you had the win there. The card I took from your entomb was noxious revival which let me put a land on top of Etali's deck so I knew they couldn't draw an out and I could finish them off on the next turn. Great playing with you as always, wasn't able to convert into the top 4 because Kenrith got to reanimate their Kutzil and no one had an answer 😅

being new to the deck this video is awesome. Sometimes is hard to try to learn this kind of decks because seems easier to fall into "just play a tier 1 deck" but korvold seems so much fun and powerfull

for what's it worth, I had 3 wins 1 draw going into the final, no loss ;) great report and great game duder. I was talking about the finals game with my homie and I hadn't even realized Kenrith main-phased that OBM haha. Probably was something we as a table should've discussed, idk. hope to get more games in the future!

I'd be interested in seeing the Kambal list as well! Being a Korvold player myself I'm very happy to see it get some mainstream attention again. I'm gonna try your list out and see how well it fares in tournies for me. I'm still so high on the twinflame/molten because even without dualcaster combos it makes a great dockside clone that you can sacrifice to Korvold for advantage. But seeing as your list and Mad king list have cut those out and have seen success maybe its time. I do love the addition of food chain and have only cut it from my list because of the heavy rhystic play I see.

wait how do you win with food chain in the first game if you exile dockside? ruthless technomacer can’t farm treasures with dockside anymore, I can’t see the finisher here.. any help?
@ComedIanMTG4 ай бұрын
Cast squee, sac to korvold etb to draw through deck. From there you can repeat this but before the sacrifice resolves you can exile korvold to FC so you aren't forced to draw. That makes infinite sacs so you just mayhem devil them

I’ve always wondered why people let Ian get away with it so much. Maybe you should play better defense against the best player in the pod??
@ComedIanMTG5 ай бұрын
Right, but it isn't how cEDH works. Going all out on one player usually means you've left a giant window for another. The format is self-balancing that way
@savagestreamin10315 ай бұрын
I will be honest, I have done coaching game session quite a few times and most of the games I have taken are on the backside of people using their resources to keep Ian at bay. It's paying attention to the decks and windows, you can usually tell when a good player is waiting for a window and it's knowing how to navigate around that.
