I can't say enough about Kate Welch. This was truly herding cats to the point that one of the players didn't even have a character sheet. I bet anyone who has DMed cringed when Reggie said he didn't have his sheet. Kate rolled with it, assigned modifiers on the fly based on what the character was and kept the whole thing moving. Just a spectacular job by her, and because of that, this was very entertaining.

Opening the PHB literally as the game is starting was a big red flag. I wonder if the game was pitched to him as more improv than it actually is.

Kate Welsh is a masterful DM. The players are... at best annoying, but mostly painful to watch. They don't seem to know their characters. They mostly don't roleplay. They're not funny. They don't know how to make a basic check. There is virtually zero chemistry between the characters. Dog ate my character sheet. What?! And quite frankly I am surprised how six comedians can all display zero comedic talent for two hours straight. Zero prep nervousness? 14 hours o'work tired?

Not gonna lie, this is a super tough watch. The concept is cool but it's just tortuous to watch people with no chemistry and who have no idea how to play the game for two hours. No character sheet? Making up things instead of rolling? Surely you can play for an hour off camera so people have some clue as to what they're doing before filming this. It's just disappointing.
