@keytone3334 жыл бұрын
Allright. As a person who loves DnD, I could not help but to watch this whole session from Chris' perspective. Pretty much like him, I did want them to enjoy the game. So in the times when the web connection was gone, a PC got frozen (literally), a dog interupted DM, another dog intervened making goat noices with its toy (Karen's dog has a potential of being a sound editor or bard, seriously), a PC unintentionally leaving the game, the same PC entering the game while unintentionally pushing out another PC from his frame (looking at you Karen), an enthusiastic person intervening with every logical thought possible and attacking a white dragon alone, I felt for Chris Perkins. If we put this videocall in the DnD universe, we can say there were too many 1s that are rolled, and it was like a Zoom fail Bingo. However, Chris Perkins proved he was a great DM again by not letting these difficulties getting on his way. And I personally thank David Harbour for being amazing as he is. Hope we see all of these players play again once we are done with 2020.
@thomasgeise57454 жыл бұрын
Very well said, as a long time D&D fan and half-time DM I couldn't agree more. We can tell he even let them get away with a few things that weren't technically correct (such as Minor Illusioning one's appearance or 3rd level Wild Shape into a flying animal) but didn't matter in the end and contributed to the game. This is a lesson on how to be a good DM.
