The way they describe Banaras is so accurate. From their discussion, one can feel that Banaras is truly one of the most beloved cities in India. Anyone who has been there becomes emotionally attached to the city. Whenever they talk about Banaras, there is a different emotion and vibe in their voices, which I can feel, being from Banaras myself. Throughout the conversation, Ravi Gupta was so hilarious, adding a lot of humor. I loved how Ashish shared his experiences of the behavior of village people, which at times was interrupted by Ravi Gupta.. Haha! It was a fantastic experience listening to their stories.

I just came back to NZ from India 3 days ago and man the nostalgia of "Baketi" is hitting me here. Me and my husband are from very small town in MP and zindagi theher si jaati hain wahan. Thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. 11 saal se India se Bahar rah ke bhi, wapas jaakar lagta hai kabhi choota hi nahi. ( gyaan mat deno koi wapas aa jaao, mere Bangle ki EMI chal rahi hai 😂)

@@arindammukherjee7125 Every city has drawbacks. But delhi hands down best if you compare metropolitan cities in terms of city vibe and culture. If you are more abitious person then you may like Mumbai. But if it comes to food, culture, festivities, transportation, weather, etc. then delhi tops. Its beacuse of simple reason that Delhi is the capital and large number of people from different part of countries reside here. So they bring along culture, fodd, festivals,etc. Pollution is a concern but it is only for max. a month. Rape rate in delhi is a touch more, gotcha but is not like that any other cities have a clean chit. These cities are also neck to neck. Ganda paani seriously? Road rage happens all over India just that Delhi is more infamous for it. On the contrary Delhi is known for dill vaali. They wont keep any bad blood with you. Every city has major drawbacks Kolata, Mumbai, Chennai, Banglore, Hyderabad, etc. But taking everything in aspect Delhi is the best.

Kolkata has good variety of food. But nothing when compared to Delhi. Delhi being the capital has all the food from all parts of India. Certain areas of delhi are famous for specific type of food. For eg. there is a place called C.R park in delhi. It is famous for Bengal/ Kolkata food and they have huge variety. Delhi has variety from all parts of India. Plus Delhi haat has stalls from all over India throughout the year. Plus variuos food fair keeps happening in Pragati Maidaan.
