Delightful! Thanks for posting. These old just-over-an-hour flicks were the "TV" of the day. Something you could go watch for a few cents and while away an hour or so. They weren't meant to be "high art" but just entertaining diversions and they are still that 80 years later.

This was worth the watch. It was nice to see young people portrayed as intelligent instead of nincompoops. And the girl didn't trip once and hurt her ankle. Watch it and I think you will like it. 😅😅

She was wonderful in the 30's movie THESE THREE and was also in several Deanna Durbin movies at Universal. Also was the girl in the wheelchair in the movie HEIDI ! Great actress!

You are so right "the junk on tv". I paid a lot of money monthly for cable TV and never got the selection and pause capabilities that I get with utube. So I canceled cable and save $60 monthly.

Oh, they still have quality (if one knows where to look). But you wouldn't condemn a piece of high-quality steel simply because it wasn't high-quality marble - unless it wasn't what fits your requirement or taste, eh? 🙂

At 45.23 the young couple enter an old empty house to look for the dead woman's money. They get locked in the "haunted house" at approximately 1:00. I don't know why some commenters are saying there is no old house in the story. They must not have watched it or don't know what a "haunted house" is.

Superb film , its sort of in the vain of "the five" books in the UK , where kids discover smugglers etc . Secret passages , tunnels and sinister adults , great stuff.

George Cleveland-the grandfather in the lassie tv show is a newspaper editor in the film-the house 🏠 in the movie 🍿 isn’t haunted-but it gives a creepy feeling about it-good little flick to watch! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
