This is touching my heart. I am age 68 and in this life what was before has nothing to do with what can happen now in the right way. What would I do? First off I would repaint the outer of that house in ultra white and paint the steps blue. The rooms outer would be all white with black trim. Then I would rent out as motel apartments to people. I would keep that girl because she is feisty and energetic

If you see the name bates motel you think horror this is not a horror but a story with a positive outcome and important message very much worth the watching to the unexpected twist ending some excellent casting even from the movie shaft

That was a decent flick. Definitely one for the "rainy day" category. I'm guessing there was an issue with music rights because the audio just stopped a few times during the last 20 minutes.

I was trying to place Sally, since she looked so familiar. That's Khrystyne Haje from the tv sitcom HEAD OF THE CLASS! Lots of familiar faces here. Apparently the film was supposed to be the intro to a tv series (the Sally episode, which comes out of nowhere, now makes sense) but was not picked up by a network.

One of them is George 'Buck' Flower. A longtime character actor, he often played a vagrant or Bum. You may know him best, as the Bum in 'Back to the Future'. When Marty first returns back, there's a bum on the park bench. His only line of dialogue is, 'Crazy Drunk Drivers.' Which he says while holding a bottle of booze, in a paper bag ;) Many filmmakers thought ole Buck was a good luck charm, along with the 2nd Man. Another long time bit player, whose name I sadly forget, at the moment. lol It's also frustrating, that I can't think of one movie he was in, when he was in so many. Sorry about that. I use to know things like this by heart but as the mind gets older.... I still have a ton of useless info, rolling around in there. I like the movie, but after the first guest arrived, the channel apparently chose to mute the sound because of music being played, I just stopped at 1:08:34 when they did it a second time and then I heard just a bit of the music, before I didn't really know for sure what was happening, I thought for a moment my heads phones had went out on me or something, then I tested them and realized it was just this stupid channel censoring the music for some dumb reason. If your so worried about copyrights, then why show the freaking movie at all, since I am sure there's copyright with it too. If this is what you do with every movie on your channel, then I guess I won't bother subscribing after all, which I did intend on doing. I guess I'm the only viewer who noticed it or people just decided to not mention it, though I'm leaning towards they didn't notice, since most viewers on KZbin have the attention span of a gnat! Okay went back to watching it and at 1:09:36 it's still mute when there is people talking to the same guest, the woman who is a writer, WTF! This is so F-ing stupid! You have ruined the movie but cutting the sound out for whatever stupid reason you did. Oh and now at about 1:09:57 the sound comes back on, only after the character, the female guest and writer, turns off the music, so we have no idea what the other woman who came into her room said to her for about 20 seconds at least. Wow now at 1:14:29 you cut the sound again when the band starts to sing Queen Of The Hop, WTF, I doubt if there was no copyright thing with the other song they sang before, then there wouldn't be one for this song either. I wish I could find a better version of this movie, because you editing out so much of the sound in the last 30 minutes or more of this movie is ruining any enjoyment I was having before it started. It's a fun movie, but this makes it annoying to watch instead. Also wanted to mention others that the young guy the woman is dancing with during the muted sound area, is Jason Bateman, a very young one at that, I almost didn't recognize him. Also this was a tv movie and pilot for a tv series that never happened, that's why it kinda seems like it more at the end with the ghosts that the only guest the woman writer, at the motel meets. I now after finishing the movie, find myself trying to decide whether to give this a like or dislike, since the channel ruined the movie with all the sound cuts, but I still liked the movie itself. But I think I will go for the dislike button, since it's to me is about this channel, not the movie. And I doubt it will affect someone else from watching the movie, but I can't give this VIDEO by this CHANNEL a LIKE, with them kinda ruining the movie by cutting too much sound out. At least they could have explained why and give a warning that the sound was cut in several scenes!

movie's ok but really really really annoying that uploader's CUT OUT THE AUDIO every single time there's any music.☹ Plus they cut out the beginning- and end-credits too. To me that means one thing: I leave a dislike 👎 and click "don't recommend channel". - Fortunately though, I found another upload: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6OsoWyoaLBqaZo which has the FULL movie, including the full audio. I'll give my like to that upload instead. 😉

I just wasted 90 minutes of my life. For a comedy, it's not funny. It feels like two movies, and none of them have anything to do with "Psycho." I'm glad they buried this movie because it pissed me off!
