As a victim of rape I can personally tell you it never goes away Im 73 now and still have nightmares to this day;Sad the justice of our country is still terrible

Who in the hell takes a warrant on a teenager girl that's never been in trouble?. This judge is insane.

This movie proves my point; the point is, "judges" have too much power and should be on a term limit. I don't get it; our president has term limits and he is the most important man in our system. Stop the corruption, take back the power from those abusing it.
@JohnSmith-zw8vp22 күн бұрын
That's not necessarily true. A case could be made that Chairman of the Federal Reserve, the Chief Justice of the United States, or even the Supreme Court justice who most often is the swing vote in 5-4 cases can be just as if not MORE powerful and important!

I don't know if this is the right terminology, but would you say this is one of the best anti-type performances (where the actor/actress is playing a role completely opposite of what they are most known for...I don't think Matlock came out yet at the time though...)

There is NO way teen girls could be put in an adult male jail in real life...right?
@gwenniegirl5015 күн бұрын
This movie is inspired by actual events. There was a federal class action suit - -Doe v Burwell because this very scenario happened over and over in the Lawrence County jail in Ironton, Ohio. According to IMDb

My God, is this a true story, the girls under age , thrown in jail, no probation, or community service what kind of judge is he, and what kind of state is this, not real, studying, the law, as a paralegal, I would never agree to nothing like this, the judge needs to be barred or thrown in jail himself, so sad😢😢

Driving without license, taking car without permission across state lines, I thought should mean juvenile detention at the time of this depiction. Maybe a judge can treat a juvenile as an adult if they choose.
