Caught him doing compare at Late N Live in Edinburgh 2018, then made sure when I was back at the festival in 2019 I went to see his show - it was absolutely fantastic. Hastings can properly think on his feet.

Not at all, I just wish we had known how awesome he was when this happened. He kind of fizzled, still love his jokes, he's one of the funniest motheruckers I've ever seen. But damn if he could have rolled with the momentum from this special he could have been bigger than Russell Peter's lol

Good god. Is that what passes for comedy in Canada? No wonder people laugh at their lack of culture lol. When he mentioned 'England' (incorrectly), I was hoping for some good material. Instead we got this. Neither funny nor anywhere near true. If he began to repeat that material in London he wouldn't last 30 seconds. I'm guessing his tour wasn't very successful.

djbobhoskins Russel Peters is one of the worlds most known comedians. And for what Canada is known for, poutine, being the best at hockey, being polite, being clean, good actors, Rocky Mountains, beautiful fresh water lakes, and the winter Olympics.
