Bob Anderson is both the world's greatest singing impressionists and one of the best vocalists in his own right. He is a great man and I have enjoyed many of his performances and with Andy Williams in Branson. His show "Frank, The Man, The Music" is a must see.

Rich Little-now 82 years of age-was an excellent, multi-talented, multi-faceted impressionist! My mother had the pleasure of seeing Rich in concert in Houston, Texas in the 1980's. I had the pleasure of seeing Rich live in concert at the 1994 Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton, California. In addition to the many impressions that he performed as a soloist-he ALSO-along with his female comedic impressionist partner-did an EXCELLENT job of portraying the legendary married male/female comedy team of George Burns and Gracie Allen!

Bob Anderson is certainly good...beyond good, in fact. If I didn't watch the program on my screen but had the sound on I would think it was really those singers. Rich Little was always my fave impersonator, more so when he did the voices of the Golden Age of Hollywood.

I seriously thought 100 voices in 3 minutes was incredibly novel idea when I saw Brian Hull do it. I didn't realize it had been done before. I suppose Rich little paved the path for all the great voice actors. Brian Hull is still a genius. Rich little was however a legend. I have great respect for voice actors. They are a special kind of people. Each of them are unique individuals. If you are a voice actor you are a beautiful person.

I think he is challenging Sammy Davis Jnr. Can't tell the difference when I close my eyes, simply brilliant. Each generation spans a new impressionist or imitator. Still think Rich Little is the best voice man though & he is still with us. I also thought Jim Bailey was great till the end. They all leave lasting memories.

@@dakotawatson8229 I think the only verbs for doing impressions (besides doing impressions) is impersonating, imitating or mimicking, so it's all pretty much the same thing, I think. If you say so-and-so does impressions of X or impersonates or mimics X, it's the same endeavor. Bottom line, the audience doesn't care as long as it's good. :-)

While Rich Little is truly talented in impressionism, he doesnt not have that extra edge of pointing out each persons eccentricities with his impressions. A great impression points each person's tics and peculiar traits, much like an Al Hirshfield's caricature, to have a pointed satire. Without it, its just a photocpy of the subject. He has alsonfailed to keep up with the times. His Richard Nixon, Cary Grant, Burt Lancaster, and many of Hollywood's Golden Era is old and fails to connect to anyone under 60 years old. Who knows or cares what Jack Benny or James Cagney were? Not today's audience.

Yes and no. His singing shows he _can_ sing, but the quality doesn't show up performers in that genre, especially in a duet, such as he did with Bing Crosby once. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6ikYXx-bNJ3m8k We knew who the impressionist was, and who the singer.
