I love The Client episode for this reason. And the writing is incredible. From the first minute he is already laying the groundwork. He calls the waitress by name showing that he cares about relationships which ends up being the way he wins then over.

“I’ll see your situation and I’ll raise you a situation” is one of the COLDEST lines every delivered on the show.

Always found it amazing that Michael was a salesman in his spare time and was the best ever. Everything he did was sales. Even if it was selling you on believing in him.

When he’s just being himself he’s really cool, charming and just an all around great guy. The problem is that he’s always trying so hard to be something he’s not. One of the best examples is when he’s around kids he goes into auto pilot normal mode and is really cool.

Buying from Michael must be a treat Feeling happy and just have a relaxed day Especially when you are so stressed due to work you seek these moments

Some of my favorite moments is when they show how good Michael, Jim, and Dwight are at their jobs. They don’t just tell, they have incredibly well crafted scenes with subtle dialogue and facial expressions that shows exactly why they haven’t gone out of business.

I love how he works David Wallace over. Great lesson in how most executives are just looking at short term gains that make them look good. Human nature. Dunder Mifflin losing money and customers would be bad for him personally. Whereas a one-off buyout of Michael Scott Paper could be explained away.

I liked how the office always touched on how insane Michael was as a salesman. Made more sense how he ended up becoming a manager. Wish he stepped into the sales game more throughout the series

In most cases micheal scott has a child like mind but when it comes to sales he's a genius there's a reason why he's manager

I think the reason his managing skills work, is because of his spirit of treating the office like a family.

Michael was always at his best when he wasn’t trying, he was a people person and knew how to handle people in business, which goes to show how he acquired the most accounts in his work force and became manager, he had the biggest clients on his list.

The Michael Scott Company story arc, from the moment Charles showed up to the final episode when Michael gets all their jobs back, would have made the perfect The Office movie.

I love that Dwight knows how good he is at sales, but as soon as Michael says he’s going to steal his biggest client with him listening, Dwight goes into extreme panic mode. He knows that if Michael wants it, there isn’t anything he can do to stop him.

What I love about the writing is that Michael is ACTUALLY doing decent as a salesman and manager. There’s even that episode where his branch out-sells everyone else. This makes the show much more realistic and immersive. And it also makes Michaels silliness and outrageous antics even more funny and unpredictable 😂

As worrying as Michael can be… he is actually extremely smart 😂 I like to think that he does silly things to make people smile and feel better about things, but in reality he knows exactly what he’s doing and when it comes down to business he shows exactly what he’s really doing. Always gets the client and the best outcome in serious situations when he has a role to play

the best sale is when Michael drops down to sales after hearing about the Sabre’s uncapped commission, bags a new account on his first call, and then goes back to being manager because Phyllis smelled bad. All of this in less than 30 mins 😂
