@@sidvyas8549 mine too. It was a huge character development and arc as they butchered him Season 1 (most) and showed his qualifications at scenes like that. It’s a similar feel to where himself and Jim sat down in the conference room eating cake and he said he acts the way he does ‘lighten the tension/mood’. He might be a man child but he’s a very good boss. Would love to talk to the writers cause I think it would be interesting if they wrote him with the possibility of him being on the spectrum. She's just so happy that after all that he nailed it. She realized he knew what he was doing. He can be childish but he knows selling paper. He's passionate about it. @TheeDeputy Hell no, I don't agree with that at all. Jan and Michael were ALWAYS wholly incompatible. Even in the early seasons, when Jan was a relatable and grounded character, you couldn't actually see them leading a fulfilling life together. The last clip really shows Michaels genius. Sure he isn’t socially smart but when it comes to making a sale, Michael utilizes human contact to secure the sale. He shows that Dunder Mifflin really is a people persons business. Him spending all night with the guy creates that connection he wouldn’t have with the big name companies. Therefore, the customer knows he can trust and rely on Duner Mifflin. This is a great sales lesson to begin with and watching Michaels best sales clips can really teach you some cool and productive ways to make a sale.
@TheNoiseySpectator

I disagree.... Well, sort of. I think they should have put in more scenes with Michael being good at sales. For example, remember "Pretzel Day" when Jan told Michael to keep an _hourly_ log of everything Michael did? She missed out on a lot of times Michael was talking to people on the phone because his phone convos. were not very long, nor seemed immediately productive.

Is anyone going to point out that Michael hiring Kevin proves he is one of then smartest people in the office. Remember when Michael says kevin applied to be in the warehouse but then Michael hired him as an accountant so then this decision is only proved right when Kevin does the maths really well during the pie scene

I noticed that, too. Pam showed as much surprise as everyone else & it couldn't be because she didn't know. So, she must have been surprised because she'd wanted to "go public" with their relationship, but to thought they couldn't, until that point. Very good communicating so much about Pam with some minor actions, by Fisher! ⭐⭐⭐
