It's always sad to see a comedian go too soon but Knight truly had potential to be the greatest, and the weight of that potential along with everything else in his head that we'll never know may have gotten to him, I hope he isn't forgotten anytime soon. Not just for his exceptional talent, but as a reminder to anyone else on the come-up. If your doubting yourself to the point of the deepest darkness of depression, it means you have something powerful inside you that can shine brighter than all that noise. Best comment here. He had his brilliant moments but he was still working his material out. It was like he was TRYING to shock and upset the audience. Almost the opposite of reading the room. It was his schtick but I don’t know how that would have worked in our new PC world. I will say that I came here expecting some Trump hating one-track line of jokes and he was very evenly measured and took shots at both sides. I don’t see why a Trump crowd couldn’t have laughed at that joke. It was funny and it took jabs at Hillary at the same time and he even poked lightly at Obama. Definitely had potential but this video at least, still had some fine tuning left to go. Sad we didn’t get to see what he would become. But you are right, he was deadly as a roaster..
