One time I was talking with some friends and I was the only bilingual in there, so after I translated something I had to tell my bolivian friend that I had just said in english what he had said in spanish. And then my european friends looked at me confused so I told them I told him I had told them what he said. And then I told him the whole thing and I sort of entered an unbreakable loop, I think it was a little bit like this.
