I disagree. I may not be a genius, but I certainly will never be able to understand why people are willing to mass slaughter over something as petty as not believing in the same god. Nothing makes sense about that. There is always a reason as to why these lone shooters go out and kill people. Most the time it is not so different from religious fanatics, they are all just entitled cowards who think everyone should share their own views. Only difference is religious fanatics have a bigger following. America is far safer and has a better standard of living for your average citizen than Nigeria. That and many other reasons is why Nigeria is a "so called third world country". I'm not trying to be rude, but facts are facts. Probably because values and morality are not being taught and emphasized in schools in America anymore. Asian countries are specific about teaching everyone their significant role in society and their necessary contribution. It is also common practice to respect elders and take care of them out of gratitude. I feel like that's what's lacking in the West. You're encouraged to leave the house at 18 and it creates a disconnect between the parent and the child. I understand the independence part of it but your child does not stop being your child even at 45. My point being that children are left to fend off for themselves and that breaks the foundation of trust.

Idk. i get what your saying. Their must be something they want. But i feel that mainly derives off attention. Most of the shooters found have no correlation to any gang related activity. Their an every day person who suddenly wanted "a date" or really acknowledgment for some very selfish and crude reason. We should be able to have civil discussions on KZbin but its unfortunate that thats not the cause, Now i strongly disagree with your conclusions because what experts like (Jordan Peterson) tell us, which i believe is the actual and accurate reason behind such horrible actions, so i strongly urge you to see what he and other psychologists say about mass shootings and suicide (because they are more related than you might think). I do believe that not every person is summed up in one philosophy and their may be more as well as less to the spectrum of some "shooters" then others depending on background , brain functionality and so many other varying factors. Psychologists do not currently have a common profile for school shooters, but the ones that have been studied were driven by a complex web of factors, not just a singular drive for revenge against a concrete target.

For example, here [Chile] we have had a lot of violence lately because we are in the middle of a social/constitutional crisis and the country is still orders of magnitude safer than the US.
