Well, to be honest, this video didn't come up as I wanted. It's a bit of a mess, but somehow I still like it a little.
This show has really done something to me. I really thought I wouldn't like it before I started watching it. but after a few good recommendations from friends, and some amazing videos from Elise, I decided to start watching. And boy, I'm so glad I did.
It wasn't love at first sight. I think it took me about half a season to really get into it completely.
This show is not only so good; it's also dealing with issues with a different point of view than other stuff we watch on TV. It's focuses on family, and siblings and parents, and what growing up with people really means. The relationships and the characters were written with such an intelligence and humor. That is pretty damn hard to fall in love with each and every one of them.
I wanted this video to be much darker, but I guess I was led by it, and not the other way around. And eventually it's happier. I wanted to show how this show makes the viewers go from tears to tears of joy and laughter and seconds (that's where the 'comes and goes in waves' line enters). And I hope I managed, and I hope I made some people want to watch it, because more people should!
Now... I usually don't make birthday videos.. well I never make birthday videos, and that's for two reasons: the first one is, because sometimes it takes me months to finish a video, and I could never ever plan something to a deadline. And the second reason is that even when I finally planned to finish something on time, I finish it too long before the date, and then I can't help my self and upload it anyway:-/
But this time, the most incredible coincidence happened. Today is Elise's birthday, and I wanted to dedicate this to her anyway, so here it is hun! I hope you like it:-) and of course -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
