Whoa! This has never happened to me before. I literally made the intro before I went to bed last night, and finished the video a few hours ago. Maybe it's because I feel so sick, and working on this video all day made me not think about how bad I feel lol.
So, a new fandom. a new otp. I started watching ER a few months ago. I was planning on it for a while, but it was never on the top of my watchlist. But then when I caught up with the good wife, julianna margulies became one of my all time favorite actresses because she is so freaking fantastic, and tgw was on a hiatus, so I decided to start watching it. I am so happy I did cause it's a terrific show. All the characters, the relationships, the writing, the pace of the series, even though it's 20 years old, it's something I have never seen before. Season 1 is my favorite and is also one of my favorite tv seasons of all time. The last episode I watched was 6x21, which is also the last episode of carol/julianna. Im downloading seasons 7-8 atm, and I will keep watching for now. I still don't know if I will watch the whole run. It's too long, and the newbies don't do it for me yet.
Now let's talk about these two. They considered one of the biggest popular love stories on television ever, and well, rightfully so. These two characters are so complicated, and what I love about them the most is the way they just get each other like no one else can ever get them. With not many words, they can just know how the other one is feeling. I love their journey, they're relationship has developed so much during the seasons, as they have grown as human beings. And the fact that they ended up together and got the most perfect happily ever (even though george left a year before) after is just the best thing the writers could have done. And I even mentioned the chemistry??!?!
As for the video, I think one of the reasons I made it so fast is the fact it was on my mind for a while, and i kind of knew what I want. I really struggled with the pacing. I think it shown... I also used a 30 seconds clip and didn't cut it, well I did cut it. it is longer. But I couldn't cut it more, this one shot, besides its one of the most saddest moments I have ever seen (and it's hard to make my get emotional), it is so beautiful and it say so much, I still don't sure if it's was the right decision just to put it here like that. I hope you will forgive me on that even if you don't like it haha.
The song is so perfect for them in so many levels, and it is so beautiful and I don't care it's overused.

i remember when i was... 8 or 10 and i was running from school to home, even i should be still on my classes... because ER was on TV. Because there was Doug and there was Carol. Because George Clooney broke my heart and I am sure he was one of my first crushes ever. And even I was a kid and I they taught me everything about love and pain. And it's 15 - 13 years later and I still crying. They are still in my heart and I am so freaking happy you are watching this show :) and it makes me so happy you are shipping my OTP and you are vidding them. Great video!! I just finished watching ER for the first time and I hope you stuck it out. The new characters after Doug & Carol left grow on you. If you haven’t tho, definitely watch the last season. They got a LOT of the original cast back for an episode or two, even George & Julianna 🤗

I CANNOT EVEN. you used their faces so unbelievably well, they told the story and made me love this song even more than i already do and as much as i've only watched s1/2, they have been growing on me and they are IT for each other and I can't wait to see more of their beautiful relationship (i'm so mad bc s2 didn't give us enough of them WTF). Oh my gosh, i'm so excited you are watching ER! It's my favorite show, but a lot of people haven't watched it since its older. I have watched all the seasons, and I would agree that the beginning is the best, but most every season has good things about it. And you should especially watch the final season even if you don't watch some of the other later seasons, because a lot of people make appearances! I would love if you made other ER videos with more of the characters!

THANK YOU ! This show is completely underrated, and it make me sad because it's my favorite Tv show forever ! I look at it the first time when i was 8, and I just fall in love for the characters, I wacht the 15 seasons, I have all in DVDs and even 5 years after the end, I find times to look some of the episode during the year ! I really advice you to wacht all the seasons not necesserly all the episodes but you have to wacht the final season especially if you love the oldest characters !

It's so beautiful and perfect. I love these two, I love JM and GC - they're just wonderful together. Their storyline on ER was one of the best developed, imho. Each of them went through so much, struggled, overcame so many obstacles but managed to get through them together.

Oh my god. ER. My #1 fave show of all time. And you vidded it. It's a new fandom for you. You gushed about it in your description. I've been hosting a collab group for this series for years, by the way, and we could use more members if you (unlikely, I know, but it'd be a dream come true for me) or anyone else reading this comment of mine would join us: kzbin.infovideos . (Note, this summer we will be doing a 100% Doug/Carol tribute collab!! ;) But yeah, seriously, any ER fan who is also a vidder is welcome to join us, you don't have to be able to vid more than even just one season, I'll work around what you know/what you have, we vid all sorts of different things about the show at times and we are kinda desperate for some more vidders.) Anyway, I have never vidded this show as much as I might've liked, but I too have always enjoyed Carol's character, I vidded this Carol & Luka - ER - Season 6 - "Apologies" not *that* long ago, and yeah for me, knowing Juliana Marguiles from ER was a major factor contributing to me wanting to check out The Good Wife. :P I highly recommend you sticking with the show through the end, or at least through season 10 and seeing if you like it - season 10 was one of my favorites for a lot of reasons. My 4 favorite characters on the show are Carter, Luka, Sam (Samantha Taggart) and Neela, and those latter two strong female characters aren't introduced until season 10 but they last through season 15 and are epic. When I was 12-14 years old and watching this show when random re-runs would air on my TV, seasons 6-11 were what I saw first, and I had a crush on both Carter and Luka and shipped them with the characters they were in love with - Abby for Carter, mainly Carol and Sam for Luka - before I even knew what "shipping" was. Not much later, I saw the earlier seasons and I loved every character and every relationship, but I think I was too young or something to properly appreciate Doug/Carol in the same shipping way as everyone else did, and because I didn't start the show with the pilot, I didn't get the same feel about them as a couple as a lot of people did. I still always liked them, though, and honestly I haven't *ever* re-watched seasons 1-5, every episode in a row, but I think I really need to, asap. Gorgeous, perfect videos like this one make me REALLY want to. (See part 2 of my comment for more on my thoughts on this video.)

This whole video was SO beautifully done. I adore this song and am continually impressed by how epic vidders can pull off making some of the tricky metaphorical lyrics work so well, and make us fans just feel so much while watching the vids. (I assume, for instance, that you've seen these vids: wings | multifandom wings || multicouples will & alicia | wings etc. Lol. I'm now ranking this vid up there with those as EPIC vids set to this song.) There were SO many things in this vid that I loved. 1:15 the way you have Doug hitting the train that matched the beat of the song there so well... all these types of subtle editing things that are SO perfect and capture how you are so talented as a vidder. I loved the little voiceovers,a nd especially that ending choice from the season 1 finale - damn how unique but PERFECT was that to parallel her choosing Doug and being happy in their final real episode (But you know they also have a season 15 cameo appearance, right?) to that scene of her wishing someday she'd be happy and Doug assuring her that she would be. ;) This whole vid is gorgeous. Thank you for making it. So many memorable scenes and also so many scenes I'd completely forgotten about as well.
