Cometa sells the gas ram piston for their rifles. You have to install it yourself, but I love the option. Also you should show inside the barrel. It’s mirror polished.

Had a laminate version for sometime and it’s a keeper - it has a unique firing cycle that I can’t really explain but I wouldn’t swap it for any of the other springers I’ve owned over the last 50yrs. When I need a break from the increasing sophistication/complexity of modern pcps I find it a joy to shoot. Really enjoy your reviews 🇬🇧🇺🇸👍

Great rifle! Very popular here in Bulgaria. Far better than any Gamo or Hatsan plastic creations.

one of the best breakbarrels i've ever shot. I have one cometa fenix myself, love it. in my opinion, only a few HW models overcome this project at all.

No sights I noticed, and no mention of price point. I'm sure you'll cover that in future videos. Looks good Rick, waiting for more.

Looking forward to the review of this air rifle, I'm going to get one regardless 😂

I have 3 (one on the way) I noticed when they are new, they take longer to break in the barrel, but onece they have 1,500-1700 shots through them, I can put 8 out of 9 shots inside a 1 inch target dot at 27 yards, (I'm an old man, so all of my air rifles are sighted in at 27 yards...I plan to buy a 4th one (like this one) in .22 caliber later on, after I see what my 400 usc in 177 can do.

One of Gamo's failings, not having metal breech blocks on all their break barrels.
@rickeutsler38149 ай бұрын
Hey there. Back when Gamo first swapped over to the synthetic breech blocks, they had some issues. It's taken some years, but the new models have been reliable for me. Additionally, they've released several "enthusiasts" models exclusive to their website that have steel breech blocks. Cheers AGW

Do you put the shooting videos on new guns on another channel?? Am I missing something this video was done 2 months ago and no shooting video to see how accurate they are and i dont think the other cometa is on here either. There is very few usa version cometa videos on youtube at full power mostly frigin uk versions and waiting for 2 months is a long time. I keep checking but nada. Gamo finally got more of the arrow classic in stock and have one on the way.

Nope. Everything goes here. We are getting through the backlog of videos as weather allows. So be patient and we’ll be getting to this and all the other unboxing video guns soon. Cheers AGW

My Cometa Fusion is the most accurate gun I own, and I own a few, beware those small holes aren't pin stops.

What is the cocking effort like with the shorty barrel?
@AirGunWeb7 ай бұрын
Shot a video with it today. Super nice Airgun! Cocking effort is not bad. Energy is between 15 to 16 fpe. Really nice to shoot. Cheers AGW

Hi Jon I posted this when I checked your web site before we spoke via email, looking forward to getting my usc from you guys

They should note that they are not ambidextrous cheek swells on the stocks, in my experience that's unusual on break barrels. I bought one and it felt too asymmetrical, so I returned it. Beautiful rifle though. I'll probably try their cheapest break barrel which looks ambi for a good cheap basement 10m gun.
@davidmccoy86519 ай бұрын
How accurate is it with that short barrel?
@AirGunWeb9 ай бұрын
Not sure yet.. Short barrels can be an asset on springers as they allow the pellet to get out of the barrel more quickly. I'm really looking forward to getting this out on the range. Cheers! AGW

I have 3 Cometas, I find they take a bit longer to break in, but onece broken in they shoot as accurate as my Beeman R-7..I am so impressed, I keep buying more.

David, I just got my 400 USC in 177 yesterday, it is Awesome!! and onece broken in, very accurate.
@murfspop7 ай бұрын
The Cometa 220 has a light cocking effort for kids and ladies at about 15# . How does that relate to the cocking effort of this 400 USC ? (in pounds and effort )
@RichardCooper-p7b5 ай бұрын
I received my .177 Cometa USC yesterday, cocking is easy., This is my 3rd. Cometa. I shoot H&N field target trophy in mine, I have the metal trigger...and it is accurate...I do believe mine might have a free tune? These are lighter in weight than most others with a scope on them.
