Comey really was innocent and telling the truth, his demeanor and his willingness to share information, even hoping there were actually tapes, so that Trump's own stupid ass could be convicted by his own words and Comey could be proven right. I believe he was truthful and I think he withheld information to not further fan the flames of political strife and focus on justice being served correctly, with fair and factual deliberation and due process.

Hell no, Trump can do no wrong! and the media are horribly biased for playing Trump's own words!(the horror) Or how about the biggest(imo) bold faced lie of the right. The unemployment figure. According to the right 90 million Americans are unemployed(Trump claimed 94 million), do you know how this figure is calculated? it takes everybody over 16, and subtracts the workforce from this. So anyone who is disabled, retired, etc. is counted. people over 100 fucking years old are counted in that figure. Even if you prefer the old way of calculating unemployment, and even if we fudge the numbers a little, it is nowhere near the stupidity of this figure.

I agree that the meeting is fishy. But the other 8 Meetings were not about Flynn and not all about the Russia Investigation. Trump did not bring up Flynn again after that one meeting. Still, the private Meeting were he "hoped" he would let Flynn go, and the private Dinner with asking for loyalty. And asking Comey to publicly say that he is not personally under investigation. Lots of weird stuff. He definitely didn't mean hope in that conversation, but I guess he really does not see the problem with that personally.

You are correct, it is legal to ask for an investigation to be stopped, it is however, extremely irregular for a President to ask for an investigation that involves him or the people around him to be stopped. Hence the accusation of collusion of justice. Furthermore, It is extremely irregular that the President would ask the Vice President and others to leave a room to be one on one with the Director of the FBI and then to claim, "I Hope, the investigation is stopped." Why would this need to be said in private if it isn't an illegal threat? Why endure so many private meetings with the Director of the FBI, who is investigating cases against you and your administration, if what they are doing is not illegal. Or rather, I'll say this to you to make a point, "There's a high probability that you sir are an asshole, I hope that that is not the case, and I hope that you stop telling people, what could be an extremely dangerous mind set on the American People. You could become the biggest, and I mean a HUGE threat to people when you disclose information without context. Over 60% of Americans take information presented to them in the first 14 seconds of a conversation and use it to help understand the logic between two individuals." In my example, I'm not saying you are an asshole, I'm not directing you to stop spreading your opinion, I'm not saying that you have a dangerous mentality that could lead to misinterpretation of information; because of the effects it can have on people when things are taken out of context. You see it's a little more complex than that. If you shoot someone in the face is it illegal? Yes and no, Depends, Where they on your property? In what state? In Texas a robber can warn you 48 hours in advance and if he is successful it is a legal robbery. If he shoots you while he was robbing you, he did it legally. Did the person shooting the man in the face attempt to defend himself prior to shooting? What where the context of the situation? You see, once again, The law needs context to be taken into consideration. I don't call my self a liberal and I don't call myself a republican or right wing.
