Love my Comfee. Just use a dishwasher cleaning tab once a month to take care of 99.9% issues, even top spinner not moving after a while. The regular dishwasher soap is sticky so it stops it unless monthly tab.

Thanks for the review. I was looking at this model myself but I want to double check on the size of dinner plate it accepts. I've see some of the smaller models only allow very small plates. My dinner plates at 26.7cm/10.5 inches. Will they fit from your experience? Thanks
@ZaksTurf2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, 27cms or 10.5 inches maximum due to the spray arm at the top. You might have about 1/2 cm extra at a push at the top. The width of the plate 28cm maximum.

@@ZaksTurf Thanks. And would you recommend it?
@ZaksTurf2 жыл бұрын
@@TheGramophoneGirl yes, I would, good product for the price, no issues yet. There is a more expensive brand, which comes in all colours, but at a premium. This does the job, I bought from Amazon, so any issues your covered.

@@ZaksTurf Thanks. Yeah I saw the "Bob" dishwasher that comes in about 20 colours, but it was expensive and comes from France and gets customs charges :(
@ZaksTurf2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I saw the Bob first, just too expensive for a compact dishwasher. You can easily mod the colour if you need to for about under £10.00.

When you were pouring in the dishwasher salt, how did you know you've put in the required amount? Does it have to be exact?
@ZaksTurf Жыл бұрын
It does state in the manual, it is crucial to salt before doing any cleaning. I filled up, about a 1/4 of the box of salt. I top up with salt every ten washes or so or when dishes come out not so clean.
@Mikeyteves1 Жыл бұрын
@ZaksTurf thanks for that. I also found all in one dishwasher tablets that contain salt. Would that be sufficient enough without the salting process?
@ZaksTurf Жыл бұрын
@@Mikeyteves1 the salt is required for maintenance, to stop your DW failing.With reference to the tablets, they vary, and do not fully dissolve, depending on cycle used ( especially the quick wash). The economy, is the longest cycle and where the tablet dissolves, unless spray arms are blocked. The salt helps with the build up of the limescale, if you find your dishes with chalk like finish, then the salt is required. The salt also helps to give your plates a shine.

Can you plumb this in if you want? Or have to fill each time?

Yes, you can, it comes with an inlet hose, so you can connect to the water supply.

I dont understand how does wash detergent from the hole in the door get on the dishes ?
@ZaksTurf2 жыл бұрын
Water is dispersed all over, which if you use the 5 in 1 tablet, this will dissolve during the wash. Fully dissolved in the longer washes, such as the economy cycle ( most energy efficient, longest wash) . The tablet can be put at the bottom of the tray too. Traditionally, the tablet is put in the top of the inside of the door, when you close the door, the tablet will fall into the dishwasher basket. Either way, leave it in the door or bottom of the basket, whatever dissolves the tablet.

Didn't have enough since to pull the tray out to put dishes in.

The first time, I ever owned a dishwasher, I angle dishes in now on right side of the tray. The middle has a spray arm which blocks the large plates.

I've noticed in most videos that the majority of people don't know how dishwashers work. Especially when it comes to selecting a wash cycle. The majority chooses the shortest cycle and never bother to wonder or understand why the normal cycles have the longest duration. A tablet for example is created to dissolve over time so the enzymes can do their work to loosen the dirt while the temperature is slowly increasing to prevent damage to glas and crockery. Any dishwasher no matter how sophisticated adheres to this principle. But we live in a world now of instant gratification! Who has ever claimed that fast is better?! Cause it isn't and it surely not energy efficient I advice anyone who's interested to buy a dishwasher to delve into the inner workings. And educate yourself Even loading a dishwasher is a complete science and an absolute pleasure when done right. And last but not least 'Read the fricking manual' if you pay for a feat of technology you could at least pay the product the respect it deserves
@ZaksTurf2 жыл бұрын
You are correct in saying this, but not everyone reads the manual. Consumers may not always have the background knowledge or sometimes the patient for doing a full eco wash. Although this is the most efficient cycle and when you miss part of the cycle, this can be detrimental to the dishwasher. With both washing machines and dishwashers, or any product, manufacturers have to keep their consumer's happy. The quick wash is a selling point for some consumers. The quick wash may suit, the busy wall street business man. The economy wash may suit pensioner's who wash on eco, when the electricity in the cheapest ( Economy 7). The business man may not worry about efficiency or saving money, while the pensioners or people on the lower end are counting their pennies. With reference to the undissolved tablets , this can will occur , because of a number of reasons. The tablet can still be there after a full eco wash too, for example, the spray arms been blocked, with debris. This will stop the spray arm from spinning around, therefore, cleaning dishes correctly and also not allowing tablet to dissolve. The dishes blocking the top spray is also a common cause for undissolved tablet. A poorly maintained dishwasher, can also cause this issue. The type of tablet can also a factor too, some dishwashers can not handle a 5 in 1 tablet. Like anything, it takes time, to learn about any product. And its up to the each consumer how responsible they are with the dishwasher. The dishwasher is there to make your life easier, so you can do something else whilst the dishwasher is in action. Some consumers have extremely busy lifestyles, and will treat this as a product that washes dishes and nothing else. So giving respect to a product is does not take priority, over more important issues. This is great product, which does a job, and that's it and respectfully does not need to be taken too seriously.
