After seeing this segment, I want to stop by and eat there. From what this showed me, Serenity Star seems to be a place where the Kingdom of God resides, and where Jesus is most certainly present.

I went to a lot of meeting years ago and I know from face to face personal experience....this little I terview is for their own egos. I relapsed and did what I was suppose to.... Went to a meeting and asked for help again..... Bwahaah what I got was smart ass judgemental comments and their backs as they walked away. Believe this or not... Wont affect my life anymore.... But this interview is NOT what you should go there expecting. Good luck and God Bless you all.

Hey Samantha I get you. I myself have battled addiction and relapse throughout my life. I have been told what a piece of trash I am more than I have ever been told what I am worth from almost all recovery programs. Step outta their line and they don't want you back. I have a ministry I have just started called RTC, it is the anti 12 step program. I understand that relapse is part of recovery, and changing ones opinion of themselves is how we get well. I don't believe the lie of once an addict always an addict. If we are taught that we are stuck with being an addict all our life it destroys our self esteem and hinders are growth. I have been addicted to things in my life but it's not who I am nor was ever meant to be. People need to realize that some people simply will not forgive us our indiscretions, stop beating ourselves up over it and let them go. Let the past lay in the past and be free for your future. I have been to way too many meetings and watched people crying about things that happened 15-20-25 years ago pining about forgiveness sometimes from people who are dead. We need to learn to let it go. If our future is judged by our past we can never change, we will always be a prisoner to it. I was so happy to hear what you said and if you ever need someone to talk to without judging you look me up, I always can find time to encourage others to be free. One thing for sure is that I do understand, been there done that. Blessings. Yours, Randall, Recovery Thru Christ. ✌

I produced a book called “God’s love affair with the guilty“ it has 14 sermons if you have issues with guilt and this is the book you need to read and if you don’t have any guilt then don’t waste your time and find out what’s wrong with you.
