Thanks again for putting these videos together. I haven't seen many other if any videos like it for this type of knowledge all ppg pilots must know. A great tool for the beginner pilot as well.

Could you please make a video on setup of hang point and straps specific to the Scout. I have a Enduro version and am not convinced I have it set up right. The flight school used another brand and I also have a sky tractor V3, and this is set up but I want to transition to my Scout once I'm sure it's set up right. Thanks in advance...Dave

When you talk about the "backpack straps", it made me think. On most camping backpacks, the majority of the weight is carried on the waist belt and not the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps tend to be used to help keep the weight of the backpack close to the back and over the heels, but not to support the weight. Would this method also work to help with supporting the weight of the paramotor?

Great stuff, as always! I have a request: When you get to the end of this classroom series, do one or more videos putting it into practice. Show us all these details up close on an actual Scout harness, first with it sitting on the ground or a table, and then with you in it hanging from training straps for the in-flight stuff like getting in and out of the seat.

There is a lot more on the plan! There will be an all new series. No single classroom shot, I promise...

You didn't cover split leg harnesses! Nobody seems to cover this...

+xITZxUS few years ago I have designed my own split leg harness but it was not conformable. And I got lot better results with standard harness and Scout hybrid bars so I quit that project. I have not flown nor seen the apco split harness so I cannot comment on that one.

I have an Apco split leg harness but it's the only harness I've flown in. Just curious about comparing the two. Maybe I'll get a bench and see what I think about it. Thanks for the reply! Maybe there's a Scout in my future!

+xITZxUS I wish I could test that one

SCOUT paramotor I find it to be very comfortable and easy to get in and out. The only complaint is the speed bar hook up and no place to store it... Other than that I like it but I wonder about the bench seat often.

I am currently using the split leg harness and though it is easy to run and launch I do not find it as comfortable for long flights and it is a bit awkward for landing. I will probably go back to a traditional harness. LOVE THIS WHOLE SERIES!

I hope you won't take insult to me using these videos as inspiration to make my own paramotor. You are a good teacher but I wish you went into more detail with the math.

+noreaction good luck with your paramotor. I started the SCOUT as a personal project, too.

I was thinking of doing the same, but it would be kind of silly since SCOUT already has the combination of features I want in a harness. But not the propulsion system. I want electric with curved tip propeller (sometimes called Q-tip or P-tip) for minimal noise.
