Every time he performs this it’s a gift to humanity. David Gilmour is a gift to everyone who has lived in his era. I am thankful to have been a teenager when Dark Side of the Moon came out. Still resonates. And to be able to have enjoyed the music for over 50 years. A true privilege.

I have no words for this. I'm an engineer, a musician, old, almost as old as Gilmour, multi-instrumental, classically trained, guitarist, and this is my favorite guitar solo. It's absolutely thrilling from the first time I heard it 30 years ago. This is just stunning

My Boomer Hippie Parents Took me and my Twin sister. I'm 46 now an saw David on this Luck & Strange Rare Tour. I flew from SF to LA for a Reunion Mom & Sisters (RIP Daddy),to see Gilmour his style his tones authentic genuine real deal, at the Intuit Dome ❤ so happy I Did! It still can't compare this NY MSG solo section SHREDDED L.A. but nothing can compare to Seeing the massive production only by PF division bell Tour aka "Pulse" someone took years over 10 years to work on Audio/Video to recreate the concert experience and He Posted it here on KZbin Look for it it is incredible! Excellent comment. Know the feeling, I too have cried listening to this timeless classic and more than once...I was fortunate to see Pink Floyd at Wembley Stadium London on Saturday August 6th 1988. I was on my O.E. [overseas experience] from New Zealand, aged 24 and bulletproof...until the next morning lol. To this day the gig remains easily the greatest I have ever been to, and I've seen Dire Straits, U2, Tina Turner, and Cold Chisel all outdoor stadium gigs. The lighting show blew my mind. So far ahead of its time technologically. Hard to put into words tbh. One of the reasons I cried listening to Comfortably Numb is I connected and understood it is because I had my near-death motorcycle accident in 1990 here in New Zealand and suffered horrific life-threatening injuries and my entire left leg was amputated as high as hip and pelvis. Lost count of the number of operations and surgeries I have had in my life. If you'd like to see pics I took from the '88 Pink Floyd gig please click here to my Flickr webpage: www.flickr.com/photos/35707376@N00/29866632340/in/album-72157673246424191 Story of my ND motorcycle accident is here on Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/35707376@N00/50871667398/in/album-72157713681398176 My sporting career here on Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/35707376@N00/51986446472/in/album-72157649716035656
