This method saves so much time compared to masking with the pen tool! 🎉 These days, Photoshop can remove objects, but it doesn’t always get it right. That’s where ComfyUI shines-it’s easier to use and gives way better results. Thank you! 😊✨

Also, the new AI tool that lets you copy objects from pictures built into the OS of Mac (for example) is invaluable. I've been using it to remove backgrounds and can easily create a transparent background with the object image in GIMP.

Just happened upon this and...WOW...this node is a game changer. Thank you for this, as I'm still trying to figure out the basics of ComfyUI. This definitely could work as a companion alongside Photoshop.

So 2 minutes is the average to remove the background? And that's on a 4090? I'm scared to try how long it would take on my system.
@pixaromaАй бұрын
No, it takes 2 minutes first time to download what it needs, only one time, after that is 2-3 seconds
@Fayrus_FumaАй бұрын
@@pixaroma I see, thx.

I can understand why you want to save the mask separately, to combine it with the whole image, to be able to freely add or remove parts of the original image, say by drawing in Photoshop. But if I am going to save a transparent png anyway - why exactly would I want to save the mask separately, too? Isn't the mask sort of contained implicitly in the tranparent png? For example, when I want to edit the mask in Photoshop: Don't I get the same result by ctrl - clicking the thumbnail of my loaded image, to create a selection, and then clicking the mask icon? Is the result different from loading the seperately generated mask, or is it the same?
@pixaromaАй бұрын
There are software that doesn't have simple options to load a mask, or video editors and so on, but I didn't think about ctrl click i think is similar
@haya3sa4 күн бұрын
there is photopea inside comfyui...an alt to photoshop...possibly that can be done like this.
@pixaroma4 күн бұрын
Yeah are many ways to do same thing. I use mostly Photoshop because is fast and I use it for 18 years 😁 so comes easy to me
@gilberthcordero6302Ай бұрын
why you dont use the "(%date:dd-MM-yyyy--hh-mm-ss%)" when saving the img .then you make folders per months .
@pixaromaАй бұрын
I only save the images i use and i delete the images almost daily, i select the one i use and put it in different folder, the rest i just erase. But you can use any format and there also some nodes that let you save images. But yes you can use that to save it if you really want all images
@RedRojo210Ай бұрын
I wonder how well it would do on tshirt designs with text made with flux. Is there an option to do this in bulk as well. Like load 10 images or a folder to have it process one after the other. Also lets say you were doing 2 or 4 images at a time would it remove the background for all?
@pixaromaАй бұрын
I put a workflow on discord for batch upload, it removes the background to all

Sorry but with comfyui i have more control on how i can do things, focus should be easier i dont think it needs too many tutorials to figure it out

@pixaroma It means that Comfy UI is better? And it thinks that my 1660ti 6g graphics can handle it. It doesn't work at all in Fooocus. Thanks
@pixaromaАй бұрын
Is better for me for what i need, each interface is fit for someone depends on what you need. I need control and to be able to do what i want and do my own workflows so comfyui is good for me, but if you need something simple foooocus can be ok for you. Also your video card is not so good so maybe sd1.5 and some sdxl.can work so you can probably can not do more complex stuff with flux and control net
@darkenpain7955Ай бұрын
@@pixaroma Thank you very much for your help. My last question is, is the 3060ti 8g a suitable option?
@pixaromaАй бұрын
@@darkenpain7955 more ram the better, i will go with an rtx 16gb of vram if you plan to work with flux
