What about Ted Kord, the Blue Beetle? His death was actually pretty impactful, especially to Booster Gold. And he STAYED dead, even after Booster tried to go back into the past to save him.

What about the original Captain Marvel? You know, the character who's role is basically to stay dead, hopefully Logan stays the same way. Feels really weird that he would be left out. There's even the Chaos War story in Marvel, where dead heroes are brought back and some survive the war and stay like the Swordsman. This can go on of course, the vid is too rushed for such a topic.

Logan ain't really dead, well sort of he came back as old man Logan an alternate version of Wolverine.

Anakin Skywalker Darth Vader No, Logan is dead. Again, even Old Man Logan when asked by Storm of it was really him, he replied with "depends on what you mean by really logan". So yah, Old Man Logan is a totally different character as far is Marvel goes.

As long as they have Old Man Logan in the main Marvel continuity, the 616 Wolverine will likely stay dead.

+Drax the Destroyer The 616 Logan is technically dead, although the presence of Old Man Logan in that continuity makes the fact that 616 Logan is dead and has been dead for a bit now far less impactful since the All-New All-Different Marvel still has a Logan running around it's continuity.

I can think of one character lost to the permadeath and staying that way - Damage. One of my favourite unknown comic characters! He did get a little shoutout in The Flash but that seems to be it. Also, Mar-vel (might have butchered that spelling) and several golden agers and oneshot characters.

I hate the New Gods. They are just so laughable silly and ridiculous. Everytime the Black racer shows up in a story, i want to bump my head against the wall. A black guy on ski is the impersonated Death? Really? That's so ridiculous. The only cool New God is Darkseid.

The original Dove Don Hall died in Crisis and has managed to stay dead. Even the rings in Blackest Night, could not bring him back. The weird thing is, he should have been the white lantern at the end on Brightest Day ( a more logical choice over who we got IMO). You missed your chance DC, please let him stay dead.

You mention ultimatum..... but not Countdown to Final Crisis. Where two universes are basically destroyed, many mainstream characters are killed and the NEW GODS are slaughtered and murdered.

Ultimatum was one of the worst ideas ever. It totally ruined the Ultimate universe. Why they ever thought doing that story arc was a good idea was beyond me as they didn't end the Ultimate universe in it's aftermath. Had they officially put the Ultimate universe/line to bed following Ultimatum it would of made more sense but as it ended up playing out, it was just an awful idea.
