As a black man I’m tired of the angry back man thing i like the fact that John is an architect / Smart. I really liked mosaic, I had to hunt it down. I also liked the fact that John was young when he got the ring and wasn’t full time till he was like 25, That’s dope.

If we ever get a Nightwing movie I think it would actually be interesting if was actually darker than the Batman Brave and the Bold movie. I want the world of Blüdhaven to be extremely dark and depressing but then you have Nightwing who although he’s serious and dark light Batman he also is happy and makes jokes

100% comic GL John ain’t boring 😂 the comic version is better and was deeply changed for the show.

John should be the green lantern, or create a new GL(has to be a African American gentleman though) and retcon that he's been around long, give him his own backstory, side characters, a cool profession, and new villains(what John doesn't have in the comics which is why he is so dull). One of the main people from the DC/JL leading roaster should be a person or color/different Culture and most likely should be an African American. You get a new perspective, but would need a lot of character work and a great writer in order to succeed. DC kinda refuses to do this. Earth One should have been a black GL and really hoping Absolute GL will be black

Last thing, in terms of personality I agree don't make John or a new Black GL a stick in the mud, give him the personality traits of some of Will Smiths characters, particularly Hitch, where he can be a smooth talking guy and I Am Legend/Pursuit of Happiness, where he is focused and can be incredibly dedicated to his work. Make him a developer/designer and let the guy be successful

Worth noting with the Mario movie, there was a scene that got removed from the script where, at the end, Nintendo reps from Japan come over and meet with the brothers because they want to use their story in a game, however, due to the language barrier, they don't really understand everything, resulting in the cute game we know
