Yes! Thank you! I almost never have trouble finding a book I’m looking for. Plus, I move them around often. Get in moods where I’m like “How many Kirby books do I own?” And shuffle them all together.

that black phoenix collection by Rich Tommaso is a stunner... unfortunately it's sometimes next to impossible to get stuff from floating world over here to Europe ... great tour

Thanks, Earl! I love your channel! Tommaso is releasing smaller paperback versions of Black Phoenix through the usual direct market channels. Might be easier to obtain. Volume 1 just came out this week. I’m not sure how it’s collected in there… if it’s just like bits and pieces of the magazine or what. I’m going to do a comparison video once I get my hands on a copy.

Hell yes - so glad you're following FTLOC's approach. My collection has been very constrained by limited space - maybe equal to three Ikea Billy shelves - so the constant evolution and selling to make room for new stuff has been challenging. Looking forward to the tour!

Yeah, if I were you, I'd keep the Eternals Complete Saga DM Omnibus. I just paid a small mint for mine from Walt's Comic Shop. It also has Kirby art on the cover, and the other stories in there, in my opinion, add a lot to the world Kirby created. Especially what Walt Simonson contributed.

That’s a good point… I’m always just trying to minimize shelf space. I did like the back up Eternals strips that appeared in the end of What if…? Comics.

Great video! I've got way too many of these books unread - Hate, Perramus, Annihilation, Baltimore, 50 Girls 50, Monsters, and more. Lots here I have and love, but also lots I haven't checked out yet - The Goon, Usagi, Ducks comics, and TMNT jump out. I love the value and shelf appeal of omnis, but I just find them so unwieldy. I've got a handful but have only read one of them so far. I've been wanting to get more of Darwyn Cooke's Parker, but the small hardcovers are tough to find and though the martini editions are gorgeous, I just know it's not a format conducive to my reading habits. That said, I have Monograph and it's incredible - though even that hasn't been fully read by me yet. I love The Incal and The Metabarons but haven't checked out The Technopriests or The Metabarons Second Cycle yet - do you have a recommendation? Looking forward to the rest of the tour. Fantastic stuff man!

@@TaylorTalksComics you're welcome, and I have my books in categories. For example I have an Avengers section, a Fantastic Four section, and so on and so forth. To me, shelving your books in ABC order will have you constantly rearranging.

@@tasan215 that’s true! I do like the collection being more fluid though. Sometimes I get a hankering to just gather all of my books from a category I make up… just to see how many fit into it. A small example, on my community tab I showed a post of all my Jack Kirby books!

It certainly could! There is enough material for a Volume 6. There were three slim TPBs that were released after the material from Volume 5. I don't know if Powell will call it "Bunch of New Crap" possibly. Another caveat... Powell has moved back to Dark Horse... So, we could get all new printings of all this material!
