My friend owns Metropolis Comics and he told me my amazing fantasy 15 6.0 is definitely $100,000. I was offered $25,000 for my journey into mystery 83 6.0 I bought that years ago for $300. I was offered that from one of the dealers. Or he would give me $8000 plus all star comics 8 .5 for the Thor . Oh, you sold too soon on FF94, Agatha Harkness confirmed (I think) she will be getting her own show. 1st Shang Chi is a long long term hold, right? He will be a major character in the Avengers and he will have a sequel... You should do a follow up on these two books (especially FF94 if the show is realized).
@jacobbornowsky40133 жыл бұрын
The big problem with Shang chi is the actor is banned in China for making negative comments about the Chinese government so if they put him in future movies they will also not show those as well including any avenger project…. Disney needs that China money.. they need to get that situation settled 🤷
@MajestixComicsClix3 жыл бұрын
@@jacobbornowsky4013 sounds like you’re implying that because of this they will kill any future projects with him and that’s why this is going down? I don’t see that happening. I also think that the China thing sucks but it won’t make or break the spec if they still have big plans for the franchise and the character in other movies/shows. Shang Chi right now, like Venom are on the “cycle,” meaning they will drop a lot until the next big thing with them is announced and it will spike hard again. I will definitely will be picking up more of these on the (very) cheap it seems, until it comes back around to the second movie or any other project he is in (same with Venom)

My rule of thumb on a book.. Don't go on a ride with a book unless it's got legs in the past. Agatha wasn't a big key issue before so what would make her one later? and some who jumped on that train are now getting burned..

Although I'm inclined to agree, there IS a converse to this argument that Agatha was an underated and overlooked character. There's a happy medium in there somewhare. But I agree that the notion recently that EVERYTHING is a key is a bit silly.

i have some advice to you from myself. I have been collecting comics since 1963. i also have been investing in the stock market since 1995. today, if i wanted to invest in stock, i would NOT buy 1 share of amazon, for 3,500 dollars, i would but 30 shares each of at%t,30 shares of hewald packet 30 shares of xerox etc. ...i would not tie up much money on any one item. You are thinking, but that is what i am doinng,buying different issues...no..you are buying different amazon stocks..so , what i am saying is to make big bucks in the future,the way things are now with CGC being slow,etc, i would buy dozens of lowerer grade popualr silver age titles . you can still buy silver age avengers fantastic four, iron man for under 30 dollars each...who cares what grade they are- if you buy them YOU have them and some one else does not and one day they will want those. 10 years ago i was picking up golden age super man and siver age fantastic four for under 5 dollars a piece.

FF 94 just seems like so many other books that rely on movies/TV for most of their value. If your timing isn't just right, you will almost certainly lose money. My question is this: will the same reasoning apply even to early ASM after the next movie has come and gone? Everyone says, early ASM is always a great buy, but will the first appearances of all those villains remain so hot post the next movie? Somehow I doubt it. What do you think?

@@TT-fq7pl We're not really seeing any villains on the big screen for the first time so I personally don't feel there will be a drop after movie comes out. The villains are already established and their early appearances will hold their value.
