Such a fun day, it sounds like! I've never checked out those old Checkmate comics - always read the Rucka run instead.

OH! thats why Checkmate was on my mind. A deep corner was probably like "look out for Rucka's checkmate" and then devolved to "read checkmate." Ha. I'll keep an eye out for Rucka's stuff. Thanks for the heads up on that.
