Screaming For Vengeance graphic novel 🤘Great album. I remember when I was in high school in the 90s I found a used vhs copy of Live Vengeance for sale at my local mom and pop video store. Awesome Priest concert in Memphis in 1982. Wore that thing out.

wow..I knew about the Coheed graphic novels (and even have some of the Good Apollo books), and The Dear Hunter, but wasn't aware of stuff like this from Dio. It makes me wonder how many other Graphic Novels/Comics based on songs/albums are out there. Rush I imagine there have been some published like 2112 (I recall the animated videos) for example.

Yes! There are so many that have come out in the past 5 years or so. Most of the recent ones are coming from Z2 Comics but bands are starting to produce their own now too.

Thanks for the video! I had no idea these comics existed. That's so awesome. I've been listening to Dio since 2004. He's one of my favorite metal acts from the '80s, and The lyrics for holy diver are so damn goofy. Haha. If you want to read the lyrics to another absurd song from the same era than look for Ozzy Osbourne's "crazy babies". Try to make sense out of that one. I remember reading something from Ozzy almost 20 years ago in which he said that he really didn't know what the hell he was thinking about when he wrote that song and that he was probably drugged out of his mind. I can't find that common from Ozzy anywhere on the internet because I'm sure I read it on something physical like a CD booklet or something. I just can't remember anymore Ozzy is another one of my favorites from the '80s. Check out his song "spiders" while you're at it! Thanks for sharing all the comics you recently bought with us.

Yes, Dio is a freaking legend--nothing can compare to his vocals! I like Ozzy too and i don't think i've heard that song before, but i'll look it up. Yeah, drugs do crazy stuff. That reminds me of what Stephen King said one time when someone asked him about some of the crazier shit he wrote back in the 80's. I guess everyone was on drugs at that time--granted not Ozzy level drugs of course! And i had the song Spiders stuck in my head just the other day!!
