I instantly thought about your beard with the dead cat too! When I let my beard grow out a bit, I am in the same position, with more gray that pepper with the salt - LOL! Hey I think I could hear that thing blowing around on that roof! The car going by sounded clear too! Great information, informative video! Just had this delivered from amazon uk this morning, tried it quickly indoors with my Fimi Palm 2 sounds excellent, really impressed so far, nice hard shell case too. Did manage to prize the mount off the mic, it's a bit tight but thats how it's supposed to be. Thanks for a great review...

No sound settings. Everything is set to auto for sound.

Sorry for asking again lol. So was m50 able to use the mic to record audio without having some sort of power? Because my camera has a mic input but says that I need to plug in power.

The mic works just fine with the Canon M50. Just be aware that there are 2 audio cables that come with the package. One is for use with a smartphone and the other is used for standard cameras. Just make sure to use the correct cable or you won't get any sound.

ha, me again. I commented on your video for the Comica VM30 Lite. So if you had to choose between this mic or the V30 Lite, which would you choose? The Lite is currently $10 cheaper than the VM10II. Also, have you noticed the Lite getting in the way of your video with your wide lenses? Thanks Again!

Well I have both and use both. When I’m travelling I like the VM10II as its smaller and less obvious, which means it draws less attention. Which I like. But at home when I’m recording the unboxing/review videos I’m always using the V30 Lite. I use it with a 10-18mm lens on a Canon M50 and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten the mic in the shot. But I don’t usually shoot at full wide. But so far so good.

I have the same mic and I used the converter cable that comes with the phone and for some reason I can't record on my device. Any ideas? So I bought a different adapter but it still doesn't work

GWM-BTD Battles, Agar.Io and more! I’m using mine with an iPhone. May want to reach out to the Comica and maybe the phone manufacturer to see what they say. Also are you using the correct cable? The package come with 2. One for cameras and one for smartphones. Make sure you’re using the correct one or you won’t get any sound.

either through the headphone jack or on some smartphones, including the iPhone, you need a headphone to lightning adapter or to whatever adapter they need.

How did you like this mic? I picked one up the other day and recorded some videos, but it has some quiet hissing sound in the background. I watched my previous videos with dji wireless mic and it actually sounds even better and I can't hear that weird hissing noise. I tried to remove it in the post and it's the same, if not worse

Some said no more hard case ... price the same. Price should've drop down then as there are similar mics for less money. What I like the most is mount as it looks cool and kind of more promising in terms of breaking up. Thanks for review.

Totally disagree. For a mic of this price and with my own testing out in a lot of wind this performed very well. Just as good as mics that are twice the price.

@@gregtoope there's been many reviews out there comparing this mic to others and this mic has done horrible in the wind every single time on every single review so it's a crappy mic regardless what you agree the proof is in the reviews.

@@ChrisDallasDualped you can believe what you want. I’ve used this mic numerous times in very windy conditions. Including this very video where we shot ourdoors in heavy wind. I have never been disappointed in this mic’s quality. It sounds like you don’t even own this mic and are only relying on other videos. I actually own this mic and use it. So I’ll take my opinion over yours.
