COMICA CVM-VS10 XY Stereo Video Microphone Review

The Comica mic is a useful device to add additional audio quality to your production. Whether it's b-roll for a DSLR type camera, or improved audio for VLOGGING or perhaps just shooting family videos. The Comica is well built and will last a long time - it's components are metal so no cheap plastic here. The price point is spot on for a mic of this range/quality. The only issue I would have with it is the wind muff, it does the job on low breezez but anything too gusty and you would need to upgrade. I dont know if Comica provide this as an upgrade. Overall, I would give the mic a 9 out of 10 rating as audio quality was improved over my original onboard mic of the DJI Osmo Pocket, and it was compact enough (not like the Rode VideoMicro) to not be cumbersome to use in a run-and-gun setup.

i have the cvmvs10... the best way to get rid of wind is a small deadcat covering even the rear of the mic.

It's horrible with the wind cover off. It's very omni sounding for an X-Y mic.
