We have used this one for quite some time at event we get hired to film and the sound has always been good. We hook ours up to a Rode wireless go most of the time to make it wireless.

Cord does not detach, its not a wireless unit. I was onjly able to use it wireless on one of my test because I plugged it into the rode wireless go.

So if I use the Apple adapter and plug this mic directly into my iPhone 8 and use the iPhone camera and record a video to post to KZbin, the mic will work with that right?

I want to use this COMICA HRM-S interview microphone on stage. Its body looks too thin to fit in the standard stage stands. Is there a stand for it? Can you recommend me one please? Thank you for the video by the way. I find it very informing. And thank you for your answer too. I appreciate it.

I would try one of the Spring-clip Microphone Holder, Amazon has a bunch of different options, amzn.to/2BXlvOu I have seen them used but never used them myself so I do not have a suggestion on what one is better.

It sounds great, just came across the video from this mic on Amazon as I am looking for a good mic setup using my phone and later can be put with a camera. My question that I don't know if it can be answered. I want to get into interviewing myself. Now these days with Covid some people may not want to share the same mic in one sitting with distance in some places or who the person is. Is there an adpter to run a duel setup on a phone with these mics? Just wondering if anybody knows. I thought about getting two if there was an adpater that would work. I have a Samung Galaxy A51 if that helps. Thanks for any help.

Android has loads of other camera software's you can try. The default camera software usually sucks on all of them. I use Filmic Pro on iPhone.

So I just bought this mic on amazon and saw your review...I am going to try to use it with my DSLR but do I NEED the adapter for it to work? and if i use it with my iphone do i. need to use a certain app or can i just use regular camera on my phone?

The cable plugs straight into the phone, You need a TRRS to TRS adapter to go into your DSLR. I dont recall if the adapter came with my mic or if I already had it.

For interviews this is one of the best mics at this price point I have used. To be honest with you it has the warmest sound out of all the mics i own. I have to use software for my computer mics to get a sound like this one gives on its own.

I don’t know why it wouldn’t as long as it’s able to accept an input. This works on phones and cameras however with dslr you need trs adapter cable so I don’t know what plug media mod uses , trs or trrs
