Very intrigued by this device. My favorite part was that it connected to the phone which may come in handy as you mentioned if the camera is far away. This can also work if you have the phone in one of the inner pockets and interview people on the street. Cheers 영

Awesome video Young, on volume 10 it picks up background noise, I think the sweet spot is 2 and 4 with 75%,keep up with the awesome content 🤗📹💯👍

Hi Young. It sounds good on my mini iPad. I don't hear any difference with the two bass cut filters but that might be my hearing or the KZbin audio. Shotgun mics are very directional and really intended to cut out extra unwanted sounds and focus on the speaker. When I started I though they would be good for long distance work but that is not really the case. All microphones need to be fairly close - around 50 to 70 cms is apparently good for shotguns. I like the way it just clips onto the phone, that makes things so much easier and you have seriously tempted me - it would go very well with this tablet I'm using. I agree with you, it does sound even better indoors and I can see the risk of unwanted attention if using it outdoors. BobUK

yeah, not sure about the bass cut filter, tbh. any mic, one really needs to be very close to the mic. so, outdoor, i do actally prefer wireless :) indoor, i am using Comica mic (for some time, already 🎙🎤)

I only used Windscreen, not even muff, and it blocked out the wind sound well. it may be a little big for gopro8?

Hi Young! Interesting test. This mic sounds quite good but usually Rode mics are said to be the best mics in the consumer sector. You have no possibility to compare this mic with a Rode mic?

@@Young360 yeah... adaptor probably works... would be nice if it would come with an iphone specific exchangeable cable .... maybe you also need to cover the iphone yes hehe... maybe the iPhone 12 Pro Max (which i will be getting) because of 10bit hdr / dolby vision and lidar sensor... that sounds actually insane haha... good job btw. thank you.

Il vaut largement un rode, peut être un son plus précis dans les aigus , la présentation est soignée corps métal le réglage du volume à l'arrière est très pratique surtout quand on filme et que l'on se fait surprendre par une rafale de vent on corrige le son très rapidement . les filtres sont là comme sur le Rode , le bémol est peut etre sur la bonnette antivent à poil qui n'est pas de qualité. j'ai préféré mettre ma rycote qui va dessus . J'a ieu la chance de le trouver en neuf dans son amballage sur le bon coin à 80€

hahahaha, i see what you mean. If you want a shotgun mic, yes. If you want wireless options which is somewhat more convenient (in my case), you should compare Rode and Comica. but then what do you want the mic for? it depends :)
