The Inside Out 2 Cast Gets Us In Our Feelings! (Amy Poehler, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, Maya Hawke)

Comicbook host Brandon Davis sat down with the cast of the upcoming Pixar movie, Inside Out 2, to talk about their feelings on following up a hit movie...finding the humor and the anxiety in everyday life...and what has changed for the feelings as their human gets older and things get more and more complex!
We talk with Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke, Tony Hale, Liza Lapira, Lewis Black, Paul Walter Hauser, and producer Mark Nielsen and director Kelsey Mann about Pixar's amazing new movie, Inside Out 2!

i feel like all the actors sort of got their characters from other roles and how they did them. For example: Amy pohler as joy(she did comedy like snl and parks and rec, and has a big emotion to her when she portrays her characters talks alot and in a way that makes us happy and good). Anxiety(Maya hawke) Maya had alot of emotions in her roles but specifically robin from stranger things, who is a pretty anxious person and character, so this was great. Sadness(Phylis smith) the key role that designated her for this was the office, because we all have to admit it, we loved the office but its not like phyllis was the happiest character which definitelly brought us some laughs). Tony Hale(Fear), now i know this is the recast as bill hader didnt reprise this role, but specially tony in arrested development, buster was sort of timid and full of fear in a bit which was also hillarious). This is the first movie i saw liza lyprie in (Disgust) so i will talk about mindy kailing who played her in the first movie), in roles like the office, mindy project and more mindy kailing made us laugh but she had that disgust sort of aspect specically in mindy project alot, not getting into specifics but if youve seen seasons of the show or whole thing you know what im talking about). Then we have Envy (Ayo Edebri) who specially in the bear(I havent seen her in any other project, besides her one episode in abbott elementry, but bear is only project i seen her in and i never saw the whole thing. I saw like a season but i still have to see season 2), but in parts of the show she shows her big voice and anxious but she also seems very fast and quick which envy aka jealous. thinking that everyone is talking about you etc. the meoitons sort of share bits of other emotions but we dont need to get into that). Now the actors that portray Anger(Lewis Black), Embarrasment(Paul Walter Hauser), Ennui (Adèle Exarchopoulos) and disgust( for inside out 2(Liza lepira) I have not seen anything with them. I loved inside out so i am sure i will love the 2nd one. I always had it in my mind sicne then that i have a little world in my head where the emotions are characters like theese who have their own things but work together to figure out my life which we do), but i wanted it like it portrays in the movie which is impossible but good to figure out

maya wore orange to represent anxiety, and amy had a blue button down(i feel like joys color is yellow cause her shirt is blue) so idk if she represented it

can’t wait to see the movie and Liza and Tony will be great fits at disgust and fear as was bill hader and Mindy kaling from the first movie.

Y'ALL, I HAVE SEEN IT AND IT IS SO GOOD. AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE! and honestly, when I say I feel so seen, I am being super honest, I FEEL SO SEEN. oh and btw, Great interview!
