Symbiote Spider-Man 2099 is a continuation of Peter Davids original Spider-Man 2099 run. Peter David walked out on Spider-Man 2099 on issue #44. Marvel had a fill-in writer do issues #45-46 to "wrap up" the run. Symbiote Spider-Man 2099 ignores #45-46 and picks up where #44 ended

Liking the new format too! It’s a good diversity of ways to read things. Totally understand the need to reduce single issues and utilize other reading options. I’ve got a baby at home as well and definitely have to be careful reading floppies around him 😅. If you’re ever down near Fuquay or Holly Springs, there is a new shop called Yellow Bird Comics

I'm really interested in Cruel Kingdom. I also hope you catch up on PKJ's Batman and Robin. I wasn't sure about it at first and was thinking of dropping it (I also have too much Batman on my list) after the first issue (#14 I think) but it's gotten really good in the last two issues.

Hey man, I just want to say that out of all the comic KZbin channels out there, I enjoy yours the most by far. I have dropped out of reading comics and been pulled back in more times than I can count based. Purely off of your experiences and your recommendations. It's obvious that you enjoy this hobby and your excitement for it tends to draw others in and makes them excited as well. I had no idea that there was a new Aquaman coming out And I really want to pick it up now. I do have a question for you, do you feel like it's too late to hop into absolute Batman? Or DC all-in.. in general? The only comic I have managed to pick up at this point is absolute Superman number one.

Maybe I just need time to get use to the new format but I'm not really feeling it. Love the further partnership with Global Comix but one of the things I loved about the Pull List is by organizing by publisher, you kind of talked not just about the individual books but also what was happening there. This new format makes everything feel more isolated and not connected to it's universe. Definitely not feeling trade waiting, I feel like there are so many other spots breaking down what collected editions are coming out that this just leaves the new format in a no man's land of not really a single issues series and not really a trade video. It's trying to do 2 things and I think each one suffers for the time spent on the other one

This is good feedback. By changing the format, I was trying to prepare the show for the inevitable reading drop once baby comes. This allows me to talk about what I’m loving and checking for, while avoiding that “I’m buying this but have no idea what’s happening” shtick. But I do also like having publisher centric conversations, so I need to think about how I can bring that energy here.
