Imo the best thing about new 52 was the redamption of darkseid. Post crisis darkseid ( in the start of the 2000's) became a joke and less than a superman villain. Originaly he one shoted superman with a slap to another planet. And new 52 darkseid is finaly a team buster again. And he has a badass designe.

I thought Diana and Clark relationship worked extremely well. They were both loners, outcasts. They connected in a way that they couldn’t do with other people. It wasn’t just about their powers, but their personalities. I’ll always love Clark and Lois but I wouldn’t mind seeing more of Diana and Clark.

I remember reading this for the first time, so when i read the ice cream scene i love it and was hoping they would work it into a film. Then I saw Justice League War and they had that scene and i was like "Maybe this scene doesn't work outside of the comics." But then I saw Wonder Woman and they had that scene and I just got the biggest smile one my face. It felt genuine and gave a sweet moment in the film before Diana sees the horrors of Man's War.

Also worth noting that each universe only connects to avatars of New Genesis and Apokolips. Even when they fight Darkseid, it isn't the true form of Darkseid. It's like fighting his dandruff.

So the 52 thing is exclusively referring to the 52 worlds in the Orrey that the Monitor watches over. Grant Morrison's Multiversity and the recent Snyder Justice League comic go into detail on it.
