It's cathartic to see someone care about his potential that was lost in that mistake and seeing it acknowledged was the key to stopping the madness. Mark meant no harm. He only wanted safety for those around him. The Maulers capitulated for the greater good in their own greedy way, and Angstrom only wanted to start the process of achieving paradise. It was indeed tragic that things went the way they did, and he became too mentally ill to keep sight of his original goals or reasoning.

What I love about Rex's turn to the dark side is that Kirkman did a hell of a job building up to this moment, not to mention it came out of nowhere.

His turn was foreshadowed very early. He broke both laws and heroic principles to get himself a body. He violated the trust Rex had in him, by cloning him against his will, he was a sheltered person, so he didn't see what was wrong with what he did, and he brought the Mauler twins to justice, even though they had a deal. So he is someone who uses all means to get what he wants, and has no issue betraying anyone.

Facts! Rob is a cliffhanger fiend, however Invincible is a little different. There's something about the way these stories are written that makes each one of these videos a cliffhanger in a way that the vast majority of the other comics he's covered have never felt.

One thing I like about Thragg and Nolan’s relationship, is that they remind me of Optimus Prime and Megatron’s relationship. Or Jor-El and Zod’s relationship. They may have been friends when they both still lived on Viltrum but because of their opposing ideals, they turned on each other. *Spoilers for comic issues that haven’t occurred yet* They both have their own faction war of Viltrumites against Viltrumites and everything. I also like how basically every character we have ever seen in this comic has changed drastically so much over time that we can hardly recognize them from when the series first began. That included Viltrumites. Every one was talking about how Nolan was a POS and how he was going to remain one no matter what he does when the premise of the series is that nothing ever stays the same. Thragg sees this first hand with his own people that he has known his entire life. Mark’s suit doesn’t stay the same. Mark’s ideals change when he is betrayed by Cecil and when he meets Dinosaurus. Robot changes from Iron man to The Maker from Ultimate Marvel. Rex changes from a dickhead to a memorable hero. Nolan goes from a hero to a tyrant to a leader. Mark’s personality changes too. He learns that he doesn’t have to hit supervillains all the time to win a fight. Sometimes he’ll have to kill them even though he never imagined that he would when he first started. When he got lost in it, he forgot killing the answer, it’s a decision for a multiple choice question. Thragg is the only character that doesn’t change and that is his character arc

I appreciate that characters in Invincible are capable of defusing some of their problems using their words. I know diplomacy isn't most comic fans' favorite way of solving things, but I'm happy Kirkman has it in his back pocket. That's just good writing.

There's one comic I would actually love for you to read and talk about in a video It's called "The Call of Duty: Brotherhood" from Marvel Comics, It's about a couple of normal human friends who works as firemans, police officers and a paramedic, it's really grim and realistic and the ending lives such a bitter taste but it's like "possible" and "logical".

This is blowing my mind rn. In Norse mythology, as some of you may know, Odin gives up one of his eyes in exchange for divine wisdom. In light of what the other Viltrumites said in the previous volume about following/valuing wisdom over strength, the symbolic reference all but smacks you in the face when Nolan loses his eye in the fight against Thragg.
