@bepis2381Күн бұрын
He said this around 8:30. He says cyclops's power is definitely alpha level but because of him having less control over hit it slightly hurts his status as one. If he could control it and didn't have the injury it would be like low-alpha vs high-alpha. his power is alpha level but the struggle of controlling it, though he performs very well with the visor, would be better if he didn't have to use it.

Hope's power actually has been redefined as Power Manipulation since Krakoa, mimicry is just one of the things she can do. She can completely nullify others powers (like Leech) and amplify them (like Fabian Cortez), she can stabilize unstable powers and she can synchronize mutant powers in a circuit, allowing them to operate at their peak and in unison (The Five). All these things are what make her Omega, differentiating her from other mutant mimics like Synch.

I thought that when Cyclops died over and over again and brought back through the protocols, that injury that kept him from being a alpha mutant would be fixed but didn't, which was a disappointment to his potential! Please answer this query.
@Aureilius2112Күн бұрын
Cyclops is an Alpha level mutant. Rob is wrong. His blast being always on is a result of that physical/psychological injury. He can overcome this but he chooses not to because the visor has become an integral part of himself and how he uses his powers. Check X-Men Annual 2022.
@vatazesКүн бұрын
If you listen carefully, Rob says that if not for this injury, which Scott still has (it was never corrected and never explained), he would be an Alpha. Cyclops is very powerful mutant. But because he needs something to help him control his powers due to said injury, he is classified as a Beta. If he had not suffered that injury, he would have full control over his abilities and no need for the glasses or visor and would then be classified as an Alpha.
@Aureilius2112Күн бұрын
@ If you read carefully, you’ll see the part that I point out the injury isn’t part of the mutation and therefore has no bearing on his mutant classification. And he is classified as Alpha. Officially. By Marvel. So Rob was simply wrong.

@Ked7Күн бұрын
1, that would result in a secondary mutation which may bring his status up depending upon the new mutation. And daredevil doesn’t have powers, so exposure means nothing. 2 he would still be his rank of mutant, but he would also then be in the ranking system of mystics(like the lady with a sword and demons) 3, he would die. But he would be the same level of mutant plus a spidersona.

@@Ked7 Dear Devil *definitely* has super senses above that of Spider-Man. He straight up has echolocation so I don't know where you're getting that info from. Also I don't know why you think Quicksilver would die from the spider that bit Peter Parker.

@@godbearxddaredevil has enhanced senses, but they are not a power. Captain America, hawkeye, and Cyclops have perfect trigonometry. They learned that “power”, but if you were to copy their powers you cannot get their perfect mental mathematics nor daredevil’s enhanced echolocation. And secondly the spider bite to power exchanges are determined by a *god* or three. If said god(s) does not find you worthy they will kill you as you don’t gain the resistance to the venom+radiation. These are literally facts of comics. I don’t know where you got your information from, but it is false.
