To be honest it like that for all downtrodden heroes in the marvel universe. Nobody gets involved with the Hulk unless he's going on a rampage. Nobody checks in on Moon Knight's mental health. Nobody seems to be trying to find out how to separate Hank Pym from Ultron. Nobody offers Spider-Man (Peter Parker) a Job. Heroes are dicks.

Reed can't directly recover any removed memory, no. But he is smart enough to reasonably extrapolate from any of the bordering memories to get an idea of what may have been there. Now, it obviously is hard for even him, but if anyone is able to reconstruct what events _should_ have happened - based on anything he remembers before and after - it's Reed. Seems like Charles carefully removed any association between X-Gene and Terrigen Mists, which is why he was stuck on his own, be as soon as Ms. Marvel's presence connected the two, it was enough for him to unravel the mystery. He doesn't actually remember. He just figured out what it is he should be remembering.

I always thought that Susan Storm can alter the particles or something of her force-fields to keep people like Kity Pryde from phasing through her force-fields? I know that Susan Storm's force-fields can can block thelepathic attacks and things like that, and bend light, and things like that, but... how does Susan Storm's force-fields work? Like outside of just being regular force-fields?

Marvel needs to stop nerfing juggernaut it's getting annoying. Juggernaut isn't supposed to be beaten physically unless that person is astronomically powerful. Nimrod simply isn't that dude no matter what marvel tries to do. Simply do a battle field removal ie teleport him away as it used to be done in the past instead of this humiliation

Trying to shoehorn Ms Marvel into the narrative shows that the writers are being told to make her relevant. Executives made a bone headed move by making her a significant character in the MCU as she's never been anything but a C-list character who was only ever interesting for one-shot comics or very limited series. Why on earth they used her, of all characters, to spearhead the introduction of mutants gives me cause for concern.

Surely, if Cyclops can't fire his beams through his eyes without damaging his eye lids, could this trigger another mutation in his body and cause him to turn red with his entire body and become like his brother Alex and use his powers differently and causes an emotional reaction of raw power and destroy the building his in and fire his abilities throughout his body into a ball of cosmic power and electric magnetic power as well. His true powers come to the surface. Cyclops no more New Havoc after all he used use his brothers powers to power himself and the same for his brother to. So maybe something has to change. Scott Summers has evolved to a whole different level of mutation to a superior omega level mutant? Don't forget that his powers are probably alien in origin to his mother, who was supposed to be an alien once apon a time?

since all three Summers brothers are Energy Manipulators of the highest order, it makes sense. Scott's optic blasts not being like Vulcan's & Havok's energy projection always seemed a bit funky, but the fact is he absorbs photons, radiation, & cosmic rays just like they do, it just comes out differently. So an evolution of his powers that makes it more akin to his brothers just kinda makes sense.

Well the original explanation was that he absorbed sunlight and converted it into his eyebeams, then they tried to change that to it powers the portals to the "Punch Dimension" and later they changed it back to being energy absorption like his brothers Vulcan & Havok, with a psionic field being what protects his own flesh from being his by the beams including the backs of his eyelids. And the ruby quartz he uses in his glasses & visor being attuned to said field... Basically its had a number of changes over the years, but the Energy Absorption being akin to his 2 brothers makes the Absolute most sense and consistency. Though they did make a nod to the Punch Dimension in an America Chavez comic.

Ok. I understand Cyclops doesn't blast through his eyelids because he produces an unconscious psionic field all over his body stopping his power from hurting him, thus closing his eyes closes the gateway that emits his power. BUT, anyone whose ruptured stitches knows it doesn't take much effort to pull them apart. As painful as it would be, he could just force his eyelids open without using his hands. 🤷🏾

@@ce_rouse the muscle controlling your eyelids is not the strongest. i don't think you could really create the pull needed to rip anything. just weakly hold your eyelids closed with your fingers and then try to exert force to open them. you will see just how weak the muscle is.

eyelids are paper thin and the muscles for closure and aperture are not strong enough to break nylon threads of stitches, for example, or even catgut. You'd probably tear your eyelids to shreds trying to do this and it would be incredibly painful.

So far im not sure why ppl like Rasputin4’s social approach to the FF, thinking it (just for this issue anyway) as just blunt slapstick comedy but reflected in reality, she’s socially a robot & the FF shoulda took her as a legit threat who just casually rolls up to their house (even if she’s from a future where everything was bleak).
