I'd like to imagine that when she's in solitary confinement in Arkham or whatever, the ditzy-bimbo-valley-girl-airhead quirky pixie personality is basically her persona that she fits in with Joker, and to distract/divert attention away from the heroes she's fighting. What people DON'T see when she's at Arkham is that under her bed, she's got subscriptions to academic psychiatry journals, and she talks to herself in her sane voice, her movements far more restrained than her kinetic, energetic, manic behaviour.

You did a great job reading this. I liked the idea of sane Harely being a hero and sacrificing her sanity to save everyone. That end with Waller was good too, there is clearly at least a tiny amount of respect for what Harley was willing sacrifice for them all. Crazy Harley is awesome and a ton of fun to read, but I really liked seeing her sane as well. It was a very interesting and welcome decision and the short time it lasted worked really well.
