I got an old skool signature of John's. He signed the interior page of Giant Size Dracula #1.

If you thought completing a run of the great New Mutants was expensive before, just wait until Danni Moonstar hits the screen with a star casting.

I actually prefer Wolverine without the mask when it comes to live-action. The mask only works in the comics and really doesn't translate to 3d space without looking cheesy. IMHO.
@Boxingbear3 ай бұрын
I agree.
@VileCountry3 ай бұрын
I disagree, just look at Batman and Night Owl from Watchmen. Same mask concept, it can be done tastefully and creatively as long as it's not over exaggerated. The early Wolverine had smaller ears on his mask and that's the look the MCU should attain to.
@capncrunch25733 ай бұрын
@VileCountry If they totally change the mask completely, but they're not proposing that type of design. The Wolverine ear/mask flanges are totally different compared to the batman cowl.

My Dad bought me a signed The Death of Clark Kent, way back in 1996. It's not a valuable book by any means, but it has a Jerry Seigel signature. He passed away around the same time, so I don't know how many signatures are out there, and honestly I'm not sure how much value is in the signature. Of course I wish the signature was on a different book , but my Dad didn't know anything about comics.

Key Collector Comics needs to update their prices !! Stop calling it the greatest app in existence !!!!! Dazzler rumors are sooooo ridiculous ! There are too many wishful thinkers with a Taylor Swift obsession.

So the signing information caught my interest, especially the John Byrne part...Which brought up a few questions. I happen to have the issue you showed, with Mr. Byrne's signature. In gold? If your information is correct, are my sigs fake? I bought them many years ago at a convention. Is there a way I could confirm the validity? A cursory google and ebay search showed a few gold and silver pen sigs from Mr. Byrne, but did nothing to prove their validity or lack thereof. Thank you so much for your time!

John Byrne is a bit of a tool if he's not willing to autograph his own books for the fans . I tried figuring out his rationale but it just doesn't make sense to me
@Boxingbear3 ай бұрын
Byrne is a well known a*@hole. He even stole a fan's script outline when he was nice enough to share it with him. That being said. He is one of my favorite cover artist's.

He doesnt like the investment and speculation side of collecting. I get it.
@bprice68903 ай бұрын
BS. Byrne was happy to sign autographs. I have several. He would stay late to make sure everyone who wanted one got one. He never charged for them, except for the very last go around, and even then the proceeds went to charity. He quit doing cons because the toll on his body got to high, and it wasn't worth it to him. He just has zero use for CGC or speculation, and has no desire to contribute to it. He doesn't even use bags, boards, and boxes for his own personal collection. He's retired now, so unless something changes, the autographs that are already out there are all that there are going to be.
