They tried to make the second movie too much like the first one and forgot what made the first one so funny. The comedic punch is completely missing in the new movie. It seems like they were less focused on comedy and more focused on nostalgia.

They just waited to damn long to make a sequel it was pointless they should of made the sequel 3 years after the first one with almost all the original cast around when Madge Sinclair was still alive

The first version including the dance before the singing is way more authentic and believable as something you would see in Africa than the new version which looks more something you'd see in LA, lol.

Why do they call them black people when their skin is not black? Why do they call them white people when their skin is not white? Why do they call it a parkway when you don't park on a parkway? Why do they call it a driveway when it's used for parking? SMH What the hell was the point of your question under this video?

While you gotta give respect to the dancers and choreographer, this scene was an ironic representation of every negative aspect of black American "culture": it's vulgar, disrespectful and over the top... It was so unnecessarily sexualized and honestlyl, a disgraceful display in what's supposed to be the presence of a royal family with their children... Shameful. They could've done so much better with this performance without turning it into a Friday night at your local sleezy trap club. The movie sucked overall anyways. It should've never been made. The original was perfect as a standalone film and did not need a sequel... But of course, Hollywood is famous for taking our beloved movies and ruining them with a modern spin.
@suprmekai52 ай бұрын
The issue was making a sequel decades later sequel should of been made 2-3 years after the original
