I have been through this for the last 5 years. I went in to septic shock Jan 1 2015. I developed severe liver disease and had to wear oxygen. No one helped me or gave me support including my family. I lost my retirement due to illness and have almost lost my home 3 times. For Christmas 2017 My sister went overseas without telling me. My furnace broke and my plumbing backed up shit which was all over the basement. I was sitting in my living room in despair then a mouse crawled across my arm. BUT God came through every time. I got a new furnace for free and money would come from the strangest places. Seek the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart and he will prosper you. AND my liver is healed....

I finally realized last year why I have felt that hole in my heart and what it was I was looking for. I left the church and its teachings because I blamed God for all the hurt I had, was because he didn't love me and would never forgive the gravest sins and the guilt that I felt. I also deserted my family as well, I faced death and hit the bottom and had nothing left to live for and felt my family would be better of without me. God who was beside me brought me people to hep me, and although they were not Christians, thy played a pivotal roll in healing my body and mind and now that I have discovered all of you great people and have read my Bible and many books, I can see that I am loved and my guilt that I have carried for so long is disappearing. thank you God for never leaving me and being ever present beside me through my trials... 'Spiritually let go of possessions"? It is time to be cutting loose from all worldly possessions and depending on God for all necessities. Soon homes and lands and investments will be of no use. We are directed to put them before God and ask when is best to rid ourselves of them so that they do not become a hindrance. Sister White says it is God's will that all these things must be disposed of "before the time of trouble", because once the time of trouble begins there will be no more opportunity to dispose of them and they will come crushing down upon us during the time of trouble as lost means that could have been used to further the present truth.

Not only are they not allowed to have visitors, they are basically in solitary confinement. They eat in their room and cannot mingle for any social activities or get hair cuts. The people who interact with them are not kind for the most part. They don't have time for the residents. Previously, families were able to keep tabs on their loved ones and monitor the facilities - not now. The facilities are not being cleaned properly. I am devastated knowing my mother is in one of these facilities. She has gone downhill mentally due to the lockdown. She does not see or hear very well so she has nothing to do except sleep. It is now difficult for her to carry on a conversation and she has difficulty speaking in sentences. What has been done to this population in wrong. Keeping them "safe" this long has killed the living.
