I cannot wait to see the peekaboo, I love that you got to do this. I have a traegus piercing and it was actually the easiest one to heal, the only time when I could not use my AirPods is when it was fresh and had the longer post, for that time I did not get an AirPod in the ear. Now with the piercing fully healed and having a shorter post, I have no problems with my AirPod.

Yes, go ahead and get the tragus piercing. I think you will be OK. I have a rook, a conch, and recently a daith piercing and they don’t bother me at all with my AirPods. I just will refrain from one of the pods in the ear with the fresh piercing.
