I think the guys having youtube channels is a fair tradeoff as it doesn't seem that Ryan is splitting the profits of his channel with them even though they are expected to be filmed for the world. And I am not talking about a free lunch here or there. That's what most employers do anyways. I take my team out at least once a month or for birthdays and the company just writes it off.

The key is that it is Ryan's choice to who he helps. Just because he enjoys helping people doesn't mean he has any obligation to help Eric. If I were Eric, I would ask him how much he would charge to help him take it off and fully expect to pay just as he just paid Ray. Completely out of the equation whether or not Ryan chooses to help for free. Remember, every time that Ryan helps someone for 'free', it takes from his own family. If Ryan offers without pay, I would thank him and demand that he allow me to do something in return. Eric is an able bodied man and as an able bodied man, I can count on 1hand how many times somebody has helped me without me giving something in return.
