Joe is from another generation and believe me it was a wonderful time . Men were men and women were women. People worked hard and shared with others , even opened the car door for your dates . Citizens loved their countries and could have their kids safe to be outside with friends even in the cities . Now it’s all about me !!!!! We taught to trust people and friends in our youth maybe friends for life . Now we tell our children to not trust anyone, worry about Number 1 , and old people don’t know anything . Very sad

Absolutely right. Tragic. I'm 78 and have lived through this awful transition and there is very little to like about the new 'norm'. Indeed I have a very good friend of age 36 and he is very much of the opinion that I grew up in a much better era. He's right !!!

@@RRRIBEYE they paid less in Canadian $ which means American $ was worth less. If you went to Bank back then and tried to buy $100 cad you would have to give them over $100 usd meaning usd was under cad in value .
