The terrain glitching and the casual insane G-force deceleration and the bouncing on landing makes this a kraken-certified KSP landing

i got to 1700 m/s , i stayed low in the atmosphere and used the afterburner engine (idk what its called but it has an afterburner mode)

@@boomchacleKSPI can get up to like 1900 m/s in my f14 replica that uses panthers.

@ I’d like to see a video of this. The panther engines in stock KSP flameout last a certain speed and I’ve never seen them stay on anywhere near 1900 meters per second. That’s faster than the fastest rapier jet I’ve even made.
@djw71412 ай бұрын
@@boomchacleKSP I’m not gonna make a video, but I have 6 panthers, 2 pairs of 3 clipped together, so I have the twr to go straight up, then, when flameout is soon, I turn and accelerate downwards. I can quite comfortably reach these speeds. Without diving, however, I think I max out due to shit aerodynamics at like 400 m/s. In other planes my top speed with panthers was 931 m/s.

kind of surreal how stock KSP looks, ive played with graphics mods for so long now. also btw: pressing caps lock enables precise mode, that should help against the incredibly jolty movement

If my jets first generations don't spit at least 1400 m/s, they are trashed without further development.

This is pretty much how it usually goes in my Agency. Never kept a jet blueprint that wasn't able to sustain at least 1400 m/s, brake from top speed to landing velocity in under 4 seconds, go up to 21000 meters without stall and fly for at least half a sphere before the PONR. Isn't that how we all do it?

@@gemmebacon Ever tried a ''Kraken'' drive on a jet, then MacJab it to maintain altitude and heading? The velocity wont stop going up until total desintegration. The view from the cockpit at 4700m/s within atmosphere is hot! ♨♨♨

I have heard of it, but I haven't tried it. I'll take a look when I have some free time
